Do NOT skip this tour on Tahiti - You will love it! - This was an excellent fun tour by our passionate, funny & knowledgeable tour guide, Christian, who opened up aspects of Papeete & Tahiti that we would never have seen or known about otherwise. Christian is deeply versed in the history & culture of Tahiti. It was fascinating learning about the continued influence the French have on the culture and history of the Polynesians in this part of the world. If you're short on time in Papeete, Christian's tour is a great way to get the most from your trip.

Great tour of Papeete with a very knowledgeable guide! - Really comprehensive tour of the best sites in Papeete with our very knowledgeable guide and excellent ambassador for Tahiti, Christian. We had great photo opportunities and learned all about the history and culture of Papeete and Tahiti. We ended with a wonderful lunch (not provided by the tour) at an oceanside open-air cafe.

Incredible and unique tour - must do for Tahiti visit! - Incredible tour, highly recommend for anyone visiting Tahiti. So much culture and fascinating history here. Christian is an excellent guide with so much knowledge to share and endless patience answering all our questions! It was a nice change of pace from the pool and we really appreciated the local perspective on life here.

Fabulous intro to the real Tahiti - Passionate, knowledgeable tour leader provided an insightful overview of Papeete that we hadn't expected. Would strongly recommend signing up for this tour before you do anything else in Tahiti!

Local historian - Our tour took place despite the on and off rain showers! Christian was very informative and passionate about the island history and politics.

Discovering the hidden history of French Polynesia - Highly recommended if you have any interest in learning about how Papeete and French Polynesia got to where it is today. In an easy paced walking tour to places we did not know about or would have passed by, our guide Christian gives life to the people and events that shaped French Polynesia and which continue to do so today. Christian and his family are passionate about preserving and sharing the stories of Papeete and French Polynesia. We learnt so much and this tour provided a real depth to our short stay in Papeete.

Definitely Would Recommend - Fabulous! My husband and I were the only people on the tour and Christian had no problem leading a tour of two. He said he would lead a tour of one if that person wanted a tour. We learned so much and he seemed to know everyone—and was so compassionate with the several unhoused people we encountered…it was touching. We also didn’t realize the over 100 nuclear test bombs impacted this community so immensely. Christian also gave us dining and shopping recommendations for locally made items and pointed them out along the way. I was able to go back to these places the next day to shop. Kudos to Christian to an educational and entertaining tour. Definitely would recommend!
