Highlights
- Villanova Café - We will meet at 9:30am at Palau harbor (at the dinghy ramp). After that, I will transfer you by dinghy (3-5 minutes ride) on our vessel (12 meters). Once on board, we will start sailing and we will drop the anchor in the most beautiful coves of the national park. During the trip, you will snorkel in stunning spots and I will introduce you to the art of sailing through the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea with its culture and local history. We will be back at the Palau harbour around 5:30 pm. We will discover places really hard to reach without the help of a vessel, and we will do that by putting safety first. I’m an experienced skipper with almost 20 years of sailing across the Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Sea of Cortez.
Meeting point and time: 9.30 am in front of “Ammare restaurant (ex Villanova cafe’)” at Piazza del molo n.1, Palau. We return around 5.30pm.
IMPORTANT:10 euro MEMEBERSHIP is madatory to attend the experience and it is already included in the price.

Seize the opportunity to explore the ‘La Maddalena Archipelago’ aboard a sturdy, comfortable 12-meter sailing boat, accommodating no more than 11 guests (plus crew). This experience is a stark contrast to the crowded large motor vessels that are the standard tourist option. Make the most of the chance to journey with a knowledgeable skipper through some of the most stunning locations on Earth. Revel in the vivid blue hues of the Mediterranean Sea, feel the sun’s warmth and the push of the wind on our sails. Depending on the wind direction, we will drop anchor in 2-3 of coves like ‘Cala Corsara (Spargi)’, ‘Piscine di Budelli’, ‘Razzoli’, ‘Santa Maria’. Here, you may choose to snorkel or step ashore to bask in the pristine white sandy beaches.
NOTE: A 10 euro MEMBERSHIP is a compulsory requirement to participate in the experience, and it’s already covered in the total cost.

Wonderful experience over Maddalena Islands - We had a very great day with Italo on his boat. He drove us in very beautiful spots on Razzoli, Buddeli and Santa Maria Islands. In Buddeli we see a beach with beautiful water as we have never seen before.
There was not a lot of wind but he put the front sail to make the experience even better.
We had the chance to be only the 2 of us to envoy the experience.
We highly recommand!

Amazing sailing trip - It was an amazing trip. Italo was great and he showed us some beautiful sports at de Maddalena. Definitely better then the big, crowded ferry-boats and cozier! If you want to see the most amazing beaches, Italo's sailing boat is THE BEST option.

We had everything that day: excitement, relaxation and also a little bit of interesting knowledge. - You can tell that Italo does this with passion. Especially when you know that he offers these tours on his vacation. So the sailing trip is not just about getting from A to B. He also likes to involve the passengers in the sailing.
So if you are just looking for something to get from A to B and want a party boat, this is the wrong place for you. He is very friendly and also makes a few jokes now and then.
We had good wind at times and therefore had a few waves. That was exciting. Especially if you are not used to it.

A great authentic experience! - Very nice experience, we were well received by Italo on his charming sailboat.
We were even able to participate in some navigation tasks, I was able to pilot the sailboat, it was really nice.
We went to some great places with beautiful waters.
Much more authentic experience than on these big boats loaded with people.

An unforgettable experience!! 10 stars - If I could leave 10 stars I would leave them. An incredible experience!! Italo is a great captain who knows the La Maddalena archipelago like the back of his hand. Even when the wind was whipping (very typical in this place), he managed to take us to the best coves where we could enjoy an unforgettable day. All this within the framework of sailing on his sailboat that he even taught us how to handle. We will definitely return at some point! Thank you very much for everything Italo.

Fantastic experience! - We were looking for a boat tour where sailing was "seriously" (in the past I have had disappointing experiences in this respect).
We experienced more than this, feeling part of a group of old friends (even a little involved in sailing a 12mt with all its charm) and not cold passive spectators. Italo is a person of great humanity with a passion for sailing that shines through in every description, every anecdote. It would be an excellent testimonial for starting out in sailing! The places visited were the splendid classics, rightly so, of the archipelago, experienced without haste or delay.
