Sunset tour Orosei - We had a great hiking tour, and were even lucky that it took place exclusively with our group of four and our guide Melina. It was a great experience with beautiful pictures and a great picnic at the top of the mountain. Melina is a warm and considerate guide and we would book this and other excursions with her.

Magical sunset experience - We booked this trip as we were keen to experience something a little different on our family holiday. Our guide Melina communicated well beforehand and asked us if we wanted to change our date to coincide with a date which would include music at the top of the mountain, which we did as we were intrigued! The group were Italian apart from us, but Melina made sure she spoke in English also, and made us feel very included, telling us about the habitat we were trekking through and the amazing views we were experiencing. We had opted for a longer trek which could be challenging for some, but Melina made sure we went at a pace suitable for everyone. Once at the top we were rewarded with fantastic 360 views, a beautiful sunset and a DJ complete with DJ deck and some atmospheric music! Tasty local food and some great guitar playing/singing by her brother Johan completed what was a very special and memorable experience - the best on our holiday, so thank you Melina!

Dream sunset in Orosei - We spent a wonderful evening with Mélina (well beyond our expectations), where we discovered the Orosei region from a different perspective! The small climb of Mount Tuttavista and the discussions with Mélina really make the difference! The sunset picnic at the top of Mount Tuttavista will remain one of our best memories of this trip to Sardinia! We recommend this excursion!

Amazing Sunset Hike with Orosei AdvenTours! - We had an incredible sunset tour experience with Orosei Adventours! We instantly bonded with our tour guide & new friend Melina. She was friendly, knowledgeable and interesting, and taught us a lot about the culture, history and beautiful landscapes of central Sardinia! In one evening, we saw Nuraghi along the beach, hiked to the "hole in the rock" and reached the top of Monte Tuttavista for an incredible sunset, some nice local red wine (shout out to her partner/winemaker Simona), and a dinner of local pecorino cheese, Sardinian style sausage, vegetables and olives. On the way back, we were surprised by a bright red super moon! Of the many places we have been, this was one of the best excursions we have taken. I highly recommend you check out this tour!!

Birthday Magic Via a Beautiful Sunset - It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and she wanted to do something that involved a sunset, so after looking on trip advisor we decided on this hiking sunset in which we got more than we bargained for. Melina provided us messages before picking us up on what we may need and what to expect. We were picked up in the main square in the her Land Rover defender. From the start Melina was engaging on who we were and where we came from, getting to know us. It’s easy to say that Melina made this trip, the views and drives alone were special but it was Melina’s presence that made the trip exceptional, we went to multiple stops and her knowledge about the local traditions and history were spot on. The added extra is her photographic skills, she knows the right angles and she definitely has an eye for detail. We were nervous about the hiking part as we have only done it a few times, so anyone who may not of done it before should not worry either, there are multiple spots in which you can get terrific views so being an expert is not necessary, she understands the needs of each person, adapting the route according to the individual. The food at the top was terrific too, all locally sourced. The tomatoes were home made from her own back garden, the wine has been made by her partner and friends, also we had the chance to taste the local cheese and bread so we can surely say we’ve experienced the Sardinian flavours with a fantastic view. I highly recommend this trip, I think everyone should book this guided excursion . From the knowledge, history, the views in the car and the views at the various stops, the experience was absolutely amazing. Whether you are travelling on your own, as a couple or a group, this tour will certainly leave lasting memories. I think everyone should take some time to do this trip and see the sights that are offered beside just the beautiful beaches. You can see the passion and love Melina has for this job and we can’t thank her enough for making my girlfriend’s birthday one to remember.
