Exhilarating experience! - It is rare to go out on a beautiful black beach. Still less common is seeing seals frolicking in the surf. Most of us don't get to drive an ATV, let alone at wide open throttle. But on this tour we got to combine all of the above! Einar was a great guide. He was relaxed, but attentive to safety. We were given warm suits, helmets and gloves. He allowed us to find our own pace and we didn't feel rushed. We started on gravel roads on the outskirts of town to get the feel of the ATV. We stopped at a lava tube and then ascended a small ridge to get a great view of the area. From there we headed to the beach. It was a beautiful and exhilarating ride. I would highly recommend this tour.

Proper ATV tour where they actually let you have fun! - About 3-4 years ago I did a tour with them and went again today and was very glad to see that they are as great as they use to. Small group, excellent equipment ( clean, new-looking overalls and rain jackets on top of them. Also, hey provide rubber boots and gloves. ATV were in excellent shape and they sure let us ride them. As someone who is living in Iceland, I have been on many different ATV tours/used different companies, but I can say that this company actually do let people actually ride ATV.s as they wish and feel comfortable with ( on the beach ) - and that is proper fun.

Fun experience - We truly had an amazing time! The tour took place even though though it was just two of us participating. Our guide Einar Alex was kompetent, friendly and helpful - he had this experience even more special. We will most definitely return for more fun.

Highlight of the trip - This trip was an absolute highlight of the week we spent in Iceland. I went with my 9 year old daughter, and she absolutely loved it. She gives her two highlights of a packed week in Iceland as the Blue Lagoon and the Black Beach ATV. There was great communication before the trip, and we were very lucky to be there on a quiet time, so we had a personal tour. Ossi did a great job of explaining how to use the quad bike, so even as a novice it all felt safe, even with a child. He did a great job of letting us manage the pace, speeding up and having more challenging terrain as I got familiar with it. My daughter felt completely safe the whole time. The beach itself is amazing. We toured at a time when there was snow on the beach, and a memory that will last for a long time will be of driving through the snow leaving dark black tyre marks in the sand. We saw a whale, and large chunks of ice as the river flowed into the sea. Ossi did a great job of explaining the environment to us, and regularly stopped to take great photos (which he had already sent to me before we had even left). A real highlight for my daughter was that she was allowed to drive the ATV briefly, and it's something that she couldn't stop talking about for days. When we returned to the base, he offered us ice cream and drinks. On the way home he very kindly took a more scenic detour and showed us more of Iceland and explained the landscape to us. It's so hard to know what a tour is like when booking on the internet, but this is some of the best money I have spent in years. This business deserves to be on the top ten lists of things to see and do in Iceland. Thank you.
