Excellent full-day tour with good value for money - Took this highly recommended day trip tour with my brother. Excellent tourguide who spoke fluent English and knew everything about everything concidering Moldova (and Romania). Nice and funny guy as well. The tour took 9 hours in total and brought very much value for money, even though as someone stated the tour was quite expensive. But so worth it. The lunch inside the cave system at Epoca De Piatra was just so nice, what a cool and unique place! They focused on bbq food and me as a vegetarian could easily find something to eat. The finish of the tour with the wine tasting at the winery was spot on too.

Excellent but not private as advertised. - We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Slava, our guide, was excellent. He was punctual, informative and entertaining. The sights and the wine tasting were wonderful. The only criticism we have is that this was advertised as a private tour, only for our group. As we hung around waiting for other guests to join us we were told that it is common practice to join groups.

Great! - Great trip with amazing sights and Valerii was a great and informative guide! Everything worked smoothly, although the trip was longer than 6h - but this was nice, more for the money ;-)

A great day trip with Valerii! - Valerii was a fantastic guide, spoke English very well and had a good sense of humour. The monasteries were beautiful and the winery was amazing but Valerii also took us to a couple of interesting places not included on the itinerary which made the trip even better. As well as this, he also gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat during our stay in Chisinau and dropped us off at a fantastic Gagauzian restaurant at the end of the day. Overall, this tour gives you an opportunity to see some of the best attractions Moldova has to offer, all in a single day.

Fantastic tour - This was a very good tour. Our guide Nicolai was great and a lot of fun. We learned a lot about life in Moldova and the history of the country. The Curchi monastery and the Old Orhei are must see places if you are in Moldova. The tour in the underground cellars of the Cricova winery was fascinating.

Good tour, bad organization, terribly overpriced - Let me start with the positive: Our guide was truly lovely, knowledgeable, funny, able to answer all of our questions and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. But this tour is ridiculously overpriced. The description promises "an exclusive experience for just you and your group", and for $200 a day, I thought it would be - keep in mind the average monthly salary in Moldova is $500! I have paid less for tours in the US, including Washington DC! This is not an "exclusive experience"; I wasn't even picked up from my hotel and in fact was asked to join a pick-up point at 30mins walking distance from where I was staying. I wasn't dropped off at the right place, either. The plans for the tour changed last minute and I wasn't informed until the night before. I also wasn't informed until the night before when the tour would begin and end, so forget any plans you make for after - it's impossible to plan anything else on the day of the tour due to receiving the information extremely last-minute. (My tour lasted from 9.40 to 19.50, for reference, but they don't tell you this until 2 days before, so you can't really make any reservations or plans.) Also, the driver was quite rude, stopped to deliver a random package on our way to the first stop, and was noticeably uncooperative and rude to the guide. So while yes, the tour itself is wonderful, the agency and the organization are obviously not oriented towards the client. And given the extortionate price (200 pP for a tour of ten people = 2000 USD! In one day!), someone is making A LOT of money from these tours and I'm willing to bet it's not the guides. I recommend our guide open his own agency :)
