Great private tour into the desert with Abo Salim - Definitely book if you've never been to a genuine sandy desert. Fantastic dunes and sunset. We had enough time to enjoy the sand dunes before we looked for a secluded spot for the sunset. The interesting drive through the mountains and the detours to the incense trees, the lost city of Wubar and the black camels were also very worthwhile. Our guide Abo Salim kept us well entertained on the journey with stories about Oman and treated us to coffee, dates, camel meat and milk.

Amazing Empty Quarter tour with fantastic guide, Abo Salim - Amazing tour of the Empty Quarter with our fantastic guide, Abo Salim. We covered all the sights of the tour in good time and the overall experience was great. Salim kept us well entertained throughout and also shared interesting information about the tour places and other sights around Salalah and Oman too! At our stop in Thumrait City, we were treated to delicious Karak Tea and dates. Salim noticed we like it and gave us a second cup of tea. We also visited the Black Camel camp and got up close with the camels and also tried camel milk, which was a great experience too. Salim also drove us up and down the sand dunes at the Empty Quarter before we finally settled at one of the highest dune to enjoy a wonderful sunset view surrounded by the beauty and vastness of the desert. Truly enjoyable experience and highly recommend Abo Salim as a guide and Beautiful Salalah Tours!

Great way to enjoy the Empty Quarter and the Sun set. - Great way of hanging out in the Empty Quarter to enjoy the dunes and the sunset in the evening Muhammad Ali was a good guide to work with. On this trip though one of the woman (from Mxo) was the most selfish and inconsiderate traveler I ever encountered in my travels. Rather shocking.
