This expedition blends elements of culture, historical essence, breathtaking scenes, distinctive landmarks, and scents that awaken your senses, all while touring around the live crater of a volcano on an island bursting with beauty in every literal sense. We will be visiting two of the top attractions on the island, the Akrotiri excavations and the Red Beach, which is followed by a drive up to the highest point of the island and a tour of an exquisite traditional settlement. The wines of Santorini, a product of ancient vine varieties native to the region, owe their unique taste and aroma to the island’s distinctive volcanic soil and climate. These aspects lend the wines an unmatchable character, providing travellers an exclusive sampling experience.
