We offer vehicles fitted with air conditioning, accompanied by chauffeurs fluent in English. Entrance tickets are not provided. The hike covers 4km, with a return route to Baker’s Falls spanning 2km. The return to the primary entrance is roughly 3.5km. The entire 9.5km circuit is typically completed at a relaxed pace in around three hours.
- Horton Plains National Park - Depart from the hotel at approximately 5:30 in the morning for a hiking adventure to Horton Plains.
Horton Plains is a rolling plateau situated over 2,000 meters above sea level, predominantly covered by grasslands mixed with forest patches and distinctive high-altitude vegetation.
Typically, the plains are only visible before 10:00 am due to the dense mist that shrouds the area.
The most notable attraction at Horton Plains is the “World’s End,” a dramatic 1,000-foot drop that draws crowds of visitors. The Horton Plains, once a favored hunting area for Mr. Farr, a past British Governor, is now a sanctuary for various rare wildlife and plant species.
