If You're Doing Just One Excursion, Make it This One - We only wanted to do one excursion during our stay, and I think we chose the perfect one. We had no personal recommendations, so basically just went to TripAdvisor and searched for a company that would pick us up from our resort (Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay). We took a leap of faith with this Jacques Tours combo tour and we were all glad we did. Possibly our best day during our trip to Jamaica! After booking via Tripadvisor/Viator, Jacques Tours immediately reached out via text and email to confirm driver details, pickup location, and time of pickup. Our driver Nigel was right on time to pick us up, and a really great guy and guide for the entire day. Super friendly and talkative, we all had a great time in the car and he helped us learn more about Jamaican culture and more while driving us around. To clarify, this tour just TAKES you to Dunn's River Falls and Blue Hole (Island Gulley Falls) and then passes you off to a tour guide for those places. Your driver will wait while you spend time at those spots, and then take you to a lunch at a nearby place on the way back down from Blue Hole. The lunch was alright, but honestly not as good as what was on the resort, even for local specials, so you're probably fine skipping it if time doesn't allow. Be prepared - both of these spots are pretty physical so you'll need to be in decent shape and well-prepared with a waterproof phone case and good water shoes, but otherwise very accessible. HIGHLY recommend this exact tour with this company - we felt like we had the perfect extra Jamaican experience off our resort. Experience with Jacques Tours was great, and our driver Nigel was incredibly personable and friendly and made our day much better.

Incredible Trip/Awesome time - This was the most memorable excursion of my trip! Dunn's River Falls was so much fun and beautiful. The beach next to the falls was warm and inviting. I would recommend this trip to everyone. Shout out to our Bus driver, Wayne; he was awesome, fun, friendly, and the best driver. I would book this driver anytime I go back to Jamaica.

Great small group experience - We had a great experience touring the Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Jacques Tours. There was great communications before the tour. Our ship docked at the undeveloped, secondary pier, but we were still able to find our driver Daron almost immediately. He was friendly and a very safe driver. Our family of four were the only people on the tour, which was nice. We first went to the blue hole, where a local guide took us up the falls to our first jumping spot. We made several jumps and a swing into various pools of water. The Blue Hole was nice and it was not crowded because we arrived early and before the other crowds. Next we went to Dunn's River Falls. The place was very busy, but Daron seemed to have connections and was able to get us our wrist bands and took us straight to the start of the climb without having to wait in large groups like the other tourists. The falls were beautiful, but extremely crowded. After completing the climb with a local guide, Daron was waiting for us when we exited the water and then took us safely back to the port. We really enjoyed the personalized service we received from Jacques Tours, especially when we saw the overwhelmingly large groups being herded on the bus tours. Highly recommend Jacques Tours and Daron as your driver.

Perfect private guided tour! - We were met by our driver Wayne just outside the port exit. We had our own van for our family and no one else! Wayne drove us to Blue Hole first where we met our guide Xavier. We got there and it appeared they just opened because it was so peaceful with hardly any tourists! We loved that! He guided us up the falls, took photographs and videos with my phone that were fantastic! Wayne then drove us to Dunn River Falls, assisted with getting our wrist bands and let us know when to meet at the van. Our family hiked up the falls on our own in record time as Wayne put it! Be aware of the people(vultures) who successfully conned us into buying wooden turtles for our children after they engraved our names in them. We didn’t see until later they attempted prior because we found another name on two of them. We requested jerk chicken on the way back so he made a special stop for us, unfortunately they wanted to charge us a fortune just for the chicken so we went back to our cruise ship. Wayne and the tour guide Xavier went above and beyond for us and it showed! We definitely recommend the tour, our entire family loved it!

Amazing - It was an amazing experience all around. Our driver Wayne was so wonderful. At dunes our guide Moses was so great and kept us all safe and Javier at Blue Hole was so friendly, fun and knowledgeable. This is a must do experience for all ages.

Fun Day - This is a great experience. You will get Wet ! Beautiful scenery. Our driver Doron was very friendly and made our trip very enjoyable.

Waterfall climbs, jumps, and thrills. - Our driver, Darrin, was fantastic. He kept us safe and gave us pointers to avoid hagglers. The vehicle was clean, Darrin provided local information and history. We hiked up the falls without a guide but needed to watch other groups to follow the safest route. At the blue hole, we were assigned an amazing Life Guard who pushed our comfort zones to experience thrilling jumps and rope swings from the falls. A lot of fun. Great for adventurous families with fair/good physical abilities.

Great tours - Currently at the Riu Ocho Rios and we’ve been on 3 excursion with Jacques Tours Jamaica to Bob Marley’s house at 9 mile and dunn’s river & bamboo rafting down the white river. Jacques tours were such a fantastic company with lovely drivers. Ours were Darron & Wayne who were on time everytime and very reliable. There prices for excursions were fanatic and were fair. They supplied us with cold water after the falls which was needed and also offered to take us shopping. We did actually go shopping the once in Ocho town and darron also took us to scotchies for some food which was delicious and at no extra charge. I would highly recommend this company for any tours you would like to go on. I will definitely be using them again when I return to Jamaica 🇯🇲

Very good service - as advertised. - Basically paying for personal driver to both attractions - along with entrance fees. Service was on time, van was OK - could be cleaner, but it was fine. and the guide was friendly. No issues at all. Was first group at Dunns River Falls - no cruise ship in port that day. Had to wait for a few more people to fill out the group. Fun excursion. Blue hole was more adventurous - jumping off clifs and ropes into pools of water. Be careful because I have a feeling that my famiy of 3 were given 2 guides - probably because they saw our wristbands for our hotel. 2 guides = 2 tips. 1 guide was more than sufficient for 3 people Overall - I am glad we used this service. Would book them again - for convenience, safety, and service.

Amazing & Memorable - Our driver was Wayne Buchanan. He came with a van on time to pick up just our family of four and drove us around for both tours. He gave us very good tour of the town of Ocho Rios, explaining everything on the way! Going to Dunn falls early in the morning was an amazing experience! No crowds at all! It’s once in a lifetime experience , everyone who’s in Jamaica should do it! Blue hole is for peeps comfortable in water and is so much fun. Wayne even took us to eat Jamaican jerk chicken at Scotchies, best chicken ever ! I highly recommend this tour - very personable, straightforward, safe and memorable! Thank you Wayne!
