Great guides, super fun! - Unexpectedly incredible experience thanks to our guides, Hugo and Gonçalo. The area is stunning and the experience was unique and exciting, but their patience with taking up our small group was spectacular. They were patient, kind, and infinitely fun! Highly recommend!

So much fun! - My girlfriend and I had a ton of fun on the half day canyoning tour. Daniela and Ines were so nice and made us feel very safe as we hiked through the beautiful forest. We would definitely recommend.

Essential experience - The good thing about February is that we were a very small group. It is 100% recommended. You have to take advantage of the opportunity to delve into those unique places. Gonçalo and Hugo, the instructors, explain phenomenally and make everything easy, fun and safe.

Great tour guides and experience! - This was one of our favorite activities! We highly recommend this company. Transportation and gear is completely taken care of. Hugo and Gonzalo were AMAZING tour guides and we felt very safe doing intense things. This is a great canyoning adventure for beginners. I will admit I was out of shape when we did this tour- hardest part was walking uphill for fifteen minutes. If you can tolerate that, the rest is literally downhill and easy to navigate. When we come back to the Azores, we plan on using Picos de Adventura again for more adventures.

Repeating! - In addition to the cetaceans, we went canoying, with Leandro and Gonçalo, and it was an unforgettable adventure. You can feel the adrenaline, and the instructors are always available to help and encourage! There are undoubtedly things left to explore, but that will be for the next time! Good experience - Mega good experience and really good starting experience. However, we are a couple who have climbed a lot and therefore we could feel that we could have used 1 level more difficult. But the experience itself was good and really good guides too.

Amazing experience. This is the way to see the Azores - Wow wow wow, what an amazing experience. First we were hiking, then we were jumping into cool refreshing water, then we were learning how to repel. Joao and his partner kept us safe, entertained, and feeling like a family the whole time, though we had all just met. The emphasis on safety and taking the important parts seriously was perfectly balanced with the fun, easygoing vibes. If you're considering going canyoning, jump in and take the plunge with these guys. You won't regret it.

Younger Kids Can Still Do It -- Amazing Time - An absolute must for those up for a slight challenge. We went with two young kids ages 7 and 9. Despite some apprehension that it might be too difficult, our two guides were incredibly patient and kind, making this one of the highlights of our Azores trip with our family. I was never in doubt about safety and equipment was in excellent shape. I would do this activity again in a heartbeat. We used Picos for our two organized tours on Sao Miguel (other was whale watching) and they were very responsive via e-mail, which we thought was a good sign. Highly recommend them. Quick tip -- when booking via e-mail, make sure you confirm payment before you arrive at the tour by asking them to send payment instrux. Payment online was easy.

Perfect to get started. short tour - The service was very good, although they were not punctual in the pick-up. The route is beautiful but quite short. Very appropriate for beginners, although I insist, short. Super professional and pleasant monitors. Too bad we had a very slow group in front of us and we were basically waiting the entire time. They didn't take any photos of us during the tour.
