A MUST for every visitor to Oman. - The tour of the old town and the Nizwa Fort and the souk was very informative and friendly and in perfect English. The recommendation of the Birkat Al Mouz oasis with the Heritage Café was also excellent.

Authentic and informative - Sultan is an excellent guide. The pre tour contact was excellent so much so that we decided to extend to a full day tour before the day. We were not disappointed at all. The tour around the old city of Nizwa was fascinating and we discovered so much about the area and the wider Omani culture. We then visited the Tania ruins and had delicious Omani snacks and coffee prepared by Sultan’s mother. Following this we visited the nearby caves. We highly recommend to book with this tour provided and enjoy the very best of beautiful Nizwa. Thank you Sultan for a very memorable trip.

Family day trip - A very good family day trip around wadi ghul with Ibrahim who was very considerate with us. Great memories for all

Two days visit with Ibrahim in the Jebal Shams and the Jebal Akhdar - I first contacted Sultan from Tijwan thanks to the recommendations in Lonely planet. He has been very helpful and answered all my questions very kindly through WhatsApp. We wanted to visit both Jebal Shams and jebal Akhdar and since we did not have a 4x4 we thought a guide would be a good option. Thanks to the previous notes from customers I had read that Ibrahim from Sultan’s team was very good and nice. I could not agree more on that after these beautiful days. My family and I really appreciated the kindness of Ibrahim and his knowledge of the region. He did everything he could to make those 2 days as good as possible and it was a great experience! He also shared a lot about the Omani culture. We can only strongly recommend you to organise you visit with Tijwan/Ibrahim.

Must visit Nizwa! - A not to be missed personal tour of an old quaint village in Oman by an experienced guide as he comes from the village. Hamzah was our amazing guide. Very safe, friendly and knowledgeable. We had brunch at an Omani house that has been turned into a restaurant. The cattle souq should not be missed, gun souq, the halwa (sweets) souq was outstanding. Get your halwa from Nizwa instead of Muscat as it’s much nicer here. As our guide knows the village well, he drove us around peoples homes & farms for us to get a good feel of local life. Important to note that the car used for this trip is also excellent, clean & in very good condition.

Nizwa Capital of Islamic culture - My visit was nice in Nizwa I visited the village of Dars and the coffee bar with the tour guide and the place was very nice. And the guide language was very good.

Brilliant tour guide - Couldn't recommend highly enough - We had the most amazing tour with our guide Sultan. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and took us to some really interesting sites. His english is brilliant and we learnt so much in the time that we spent with him. When travelling from place to place, we had really interesting chats in the car. Our favourite moment was a traditional Omani picnic which Sultan had organised for us in the mountains. We didn't have to lift a finger! Our time with this company was worth every penny, it was such a varied tour which was customised completely to what we wanted to do so was very flexible. Can't recommend enough and have already been giving the details to friends and family.

Incredible and flexible personalised tours - Tijwal Majan made my trip to Nizwa and surroundings unforgettable I happened to travel alone and without a car an Tijwal managed to find me a local guide that would drive me around Nizwa and show me beautiful surroundings and drive me back to Mascate ! I highly recommend Tijwal Majan tours :)

Day tours into the mountains from Nizwa - We e-mailed Sultan as we found his address in the Lonely Planet guidebook. He arranged two day trips for us, both starting from Nizwa. One tour of Jebel Akhdar and one tour of Jebel Shams. In the end we were very satisfied with these tours! We saw all the sights we had hoped to see, and were guided by very friendly and knowledgeable guides. The guides also happened to be good 4x4 drivers, which is a necessity considering the challenging route! Pricing was fair considering these were full-day guided tours.

Visit the police station! - We reserved a day tour outside Nizwa and the Nizwa tour the day after which we cancelled because of the very poor performance of our guide on day one. Just a guy who did a friend a favour on his free day. Texting at 100 kmh and pressing to get home by 16:00. No knowledge of the tour content (we got more out of a guide) and getting new car plates for his car at the local police station.
