In the vicinity of Pigeon Island, located 2 km off Nilaveli Beach, the main activity is Snorkeling where you can witness vibrant corals, moray eels, and small schools of diverse fish including the artistically patterned boxfish. Allow the currents to carry you as shimmering parrotfish and leisurely damselfish glide by. Delicate Lined sweetlips fish pose gracefully in the water currents, while butterfly fish and banner fish perform their aquatic ballet against the deep blue backdrop of the ocean. With a bit of fortune, you might also encounter sea turtles, various types of rays, or even blacktip reef sharks.

Beautiful experience! - Beautiful experience with a super guide. Even took my phone to take photos as i was pretty scared to let go of the float! Exhilarating experience, to say the least!

Wonderful island - Very nice experience and good people.
We saw many sharks, turtles and wonderful fishes.
The only little disadvantage was that our guide didn’t know english but at least the owner has good English and he is very nice guy.

Really nice morning on Pigeon island - We spent a really nice morning snorkelling around Pigeon island. During the tour, we spotted sharks and turtles, in addition to beautiful coral reefs and amazing colorful fishes. All the material + pick up/drop off was provided. We surely recommend this service to go to Pigeon island.

Snorkeling pigeon island - It was beautiful to snorkel at pigeon island. The owner is very nice and explained everything very good. Unfortunately we haven’t seen a shark but we did see turtles and a lot of beautiful fish
