Highlights
 • Long Son Pagoda - Inaugurated in 1889, the pagoda takes it name from Long Son Tu, meaning, “the Pagoda on the Dragon’s Hill”. The entrance and curved roofs are embellished with impressive decorations featuring mosaic dragons made from glass and ceramic tiles. Don’t forget to pass by Cathedral or Stone Church built under the French colony.
 • National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam - If time is available you visit the National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam. It is an interesting aquarium in which you can gain the exact image of Nha Trang marine environment. Opened to the public on September 14th, 1922, today it is still a popular destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.
 • Po Nagar Cham Towers - Also known as Thap Ba (or the Lady of the City), a remnant of the ancient Cham civilization was built in the 8th century. The temple is located on Mount Cu Lao which offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. This unique structure is a symbol of Hindu Champa culture. The tower was named in honor of a princess who introduced her people to weaving and wet rice cultivation. Today the tower remains a place of worship for many.
 • Dam Market - End your visit with a stopover at Dam Market, the city’s main market, built in 1969 on a swampy area of 7 hectares and completed in 1974. You will stroll amongst thousands of locals who are purchasing their daily food, clothes and more. He filled us in on the history and customs of VietNam and took us to places that we did not know existed. He explained where we could bargain to get the best deal. He gave us all the time we needed to do everything without any rush.

Private Tour! - We enjoyed this private tour vs the big bus cruise excursion. It allowed us to be on our time rather than someone else’s time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible. The lunch was very good.

Another great tour from Viator, the... -
Another great tour from Viator, the pick was just outside the gate as instructed but the only thing that was missing from the itinerary was the pickup time.
Out only disappointment was that it followed the same route as the official cruise operators tours which had priority leaving the ship. It would be better to offer a slightly different itinerary.

Our guide spoke good English and in the end we ending spending more than 1/2 day on the trip as he was not trying to rush us round the sites.

Was told that she wasn't allowed into port area despite other guides meeting their passengers there.
Our guide was very keen for us to visit shops, this was not what we paid for, in fact it was quite an expensive tour. We had a lunch provided but had to pay for our own drinks.
Tour was supposed to be half say but was over in 3hrs. I purchased this tour on the basis of a previous review but would not recommend at all......overlaps we were unlucky with our guide?
