The tunnels were built to shelter people from the intense bombing of Son Trung and Son Ha communes in Vinh Linh county of Quang Tri Province in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone. It was constructed in several stages beginning in 1966 and used until early 1972.

In the morning from 8:00am- 10:00am -Our tour guide and driver will come to hotel and pick you up. We heading to Vinh Moc Tunnels - on the way we can visit Doc Mieu and Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge. Our Guide will show you about tunnels- Vinh Moc tunnels is famous as an underground village constructed to avoid bombardments during the American War ( 1965-1966).The complex includes wells, kitchens and rooms for each family and spaces for healthcare.
After that we will back to Dong Ha town for lunch at local restaurant and back to hotel
