Highlights
  • Vinh Moc Tunnel - Seeing the history of Vietnam during the wartime. This complex allowed a whole village lived under the ground for 2 years.
  • Quang Tri Citadel - An old citadel and heavy war witness.
  • Truong Son Martyrs’ Cemetery - The memorial monument is tiled with white stones, behind which a big Bodhi tree casts a shadow all year round. Paved walkways in the cemetery are made with bricks or cement and interspersed with flower-beds. Each of the provinces or cities cemeteries has a memorial with subtle architectural imagery representing the region.
  • La Vang Church - La Vang Holy Land is a shrine located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province. Christians believe that Mary showed flexibility in this area in 1798 and a church was erected near the three banyan trees, where the apparitions dwell and are an important place of pilgrimage for Catholics of Vietnam. La Vang Holy was awarded by the Vatican Holy and is the Emirate Palace of La Vang Cathedral since 1961.

From hoi an to hue - Today we did an easy rider tour with Yo and Trung from Hoi an to Hue. It was one of the best days of my travels so far! These guys are so funny. You make several stops along the way at some very nice places with amazing views. If you like seafood you will love the food for the lunchbreak at a restaurant at the lang co beach. The waterfall is not that spectacular, but it is very nice to cool down. Also Yo will give you a nice free massage ;) You should definitely do a tour with these guys! And don't worry about you backpack, it will be safely tied at the back of the bike.

Great day - Had a great day with these guys. Very flexible on plans/how dried out from the heat you are feeling. Lots of stops for water/resting your bum. Unlike lots of tours they’ll come and sit and chat with you at lunch/during breaks. Highly recommend. All drinks were included too.

Beautiful ride in the countryside - Highly recommendable drive along the countryside. A friend of mine booked this tour together and had two drivers drive us, Yanz and Tim. The views were epic, food was good, and the lagoons and elephant spring were amazing. I recommend this tour because you can only go to some of these spots by motorbike, and since we can barely drive ourselves, especially in the mountains it was sick to do this tour. The drivers were really friendly and gave us a lot of freedom. (Also great photographers :p)

Do not recommend - The tour organizer was really bad. He didn’t reply to my messages before the tour, and on the day of the tour he had forgotten to organize anything. When I called him, he even said je wouldn‘t even have this tour on offer! He then sent a driver (not a guide) who was very nice and reliable, but he didn’t have the English level and the knowledge to explain anything about the places we were visiting. He also didn’t know where all we were supposed to go, in fact. We skipped some places that were mentioned in the tour description. I had to say myself where I wanted to go and how far these places were from each other. The tour organizer had promised me to pay back 50% of my money for all the inconveniences (we left almost 2h late), but of course I never saw that money. Do not recommend!
