Fantastic Day on our first trip to the Bahamas! - Captain T, and crew Alex and Meatball were absolutely amazing!! We loved every bit of our day with them! I highly recommend them and this excursion :) thanks guys!!

Great day! - We were suppose to do the full day Exuma trip but unfortunately it was cancelled because of rough water. The company was super accommodating the day before calling with this information and getting us on the Rose Island trip instead. I must admit we were all a little disappointed to have to change plans but it all ended up being great. Adrian and crew were wonderful all day. Super attentive to our family, took picture for us, gave us lots of history and info about the Bahamas. Still would love to do the Exuma sometime, but so glad we got the experience we did.

Excellent time on the water - Ask for Captain Jelly and 1st Mate Keyshawn! They were fantastic tour guides. They took us out in the Black Pearl for an informative harbor cruise, a fun trip to feed the little piggies (I can’t stand pigs, but my kids loved feeding them and even got to hold a 3-week old piglet), and a wonderful, secluded lunch at the Sand Dollar on Rose Island. I suggest getting the fish fingers. They are not the out-of-the-box variety you get back in the States.

8 Pieces Pigs and Rose Island - We chose to do this tour based on previous posts - sounded amazing! Even though it is a bit costly ($300pp) it is well worth it! Keep in mind it is a 5hr excursion. The arrangements were handled and very well organized through the Royal Hotel where we stayed. Once on the boat (held approximately 26 people), we were introduced to our tour guides: Capt'n T, Adrian and Bryan - THE BEST! Capt'n T was a great captain, did some fun side by side moves while we were flying fast in the waters (@50mph). Adrian was the guide to the front of the boat but made his way to the backside where we were sitting - chatted but most of all showed his dance moves while flying away..LOL Bryant was our guide to the backside of the boat and was AWESOME! Was very kind, informative and helpful to a young family (and the rest of us). Always asking with a thumbs up if we were good! Back to the tour - we obviously did not research well because not only did we get an awesome boat ride and the experience of swimming with the pigs (which was crazy)...but we saw sea turtles, went to a private beach and another beach where we were served lunch! I would 100+% recommend this - Enjoy!

Rose Island with the T’s - While we were initially disappointed that we couldn’t do the all day excursion to swim with the pigs and sharks and feed iguanas in Exuma, Travis AKA Batman and Captain T made the half day trip to Rose Island fantastic and memorable! They kept it fun and high energy and tended to our needs! Travis was so informative as we toured the harbor and served up drinks in the boat. Captain T was an expert navigator of our boat and got us safely where we needed to be! Those boats are fast so hold on to your hats! They provide chips and apples and drinks. The pigs were fun and Rose Island was chill and the Sand Dollar restaurant was great. All in all, it was so much fun and I highly recommend Pieces of 8 tours, especially with Travis and captain T!

Fun family experience - Great tour, Capt T and Bryant (spelling?) were funny and thoughtful. Highly recommend. Our group was two adults, a 5 year old and a toddler.

Best Excursion Captain T and Keyshawn are the best!! - Wow!!! This was by far our favorite excursion to date!! From the moment we checked in, to our time out on the boat, everything was amazing. Our tour guides Captain T and Keyshawn were the best hosts we could have asked for and made the day that much more special! Pig island was such a wonderful experience and we are so happy we got to experience this once in a lifetime adventure. It was really cool to feed the pigs and we got to hold some of the smaller pigs as well! On our way to the island we boated thru the crystal clear harbor and learned about some of the island history which was really cool. On board there were unlimited drinks (beer, mojitos, water, and juices) and snacks available. For lunch we boated to another close island and the food was delicious! We stayed here for a bit of beach time and had access to kayaks so we took advantage of that. After lunch and pig island we boated to a private island and saw some amazing sea turtles!! We also got off the boat to chill on the beach and do some shell hunting. I could not say enough about this tour and Captain T and Keyshawn!! They really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Thank you again for making this day so amazing and something we will never forget!

Lifetime memories made in this tour - Lifetime experience great adventure for whole family. Adrian and Captain T were excellent host and captain. FabulouS tour of New Province and the harbor. Swimming with the pigs was amazing. Great energy and entertainment. Very attentive team who always made sure we were having fun or needed anything. Highly recommend for family kids over 8

Captain T and Adrain are the best! - we had the most fun day ever with Captain T and Adrian! The harbor tour was very informative and fun, and their power boat was super fast. both Captain T and Adrian were always watching over us to make sure we were safe and also kept us well hydrated. there was no limit to the amount of drinks we consumed. It made for a very memorable and fun day… My kids say best trip ever!!!!!

Untrustworthy with Refunds - I wish I could review the tour guides and the company separately, because the tour guides were wonderful and we had a lovely day. However, the company has left a bad taste in my mouth. We initially booked the full day tour to Exuma, and they had to cancel on us due to rough waters but offered the Rose Island tour instead. We asked if we would be refunded the difference and they said yes, and we asked if they would still honor our $20pp coupon as a courtesy and they also said yes. We agreed, and the woman on the phone told me I would get a confirmation via email but it would not document the tour change, I would just get a text with the time. I was immediately nervous not to have documentation for the refund but agreed. We went on the tour, did not receive our refund that day but were assured it was coming. We followed up during our trip and just were told not to worry. We flew home, weeks went by, and had to follow up again. We did finally receive our refund, but they did not honor the coupon as promised so I followed up. Via text the front desk told me the coupon was honored and I was just wrong about the amount; I don’t know what this person was looking at but it felt like trying to lie their way out of refunding the full amount, because I wrote out the math with the numbers from their website and documentation of my discount amount. Via email, the office informed me the discount was not honored and is not valid for Rose Island. I told them we were promised it would be honored over the phone and did not receive any further reply. This is less about the money for me, and more about feeling like this company was trying to slip by without issuing the refund at all and we are talking about hundreds of dollars for multiple people. We are not the only ones who experienced this. I would not book with them again unfortunately.
