For those that love to dive into the details of a place! - Great way to get to know the French Quarter if you love the history of places! Our guide, Ty, was very knowledgeable about the area and an excellent story teller. He also gave outstanding recommendations for food and drink options after the tour.

Entertaining & Educational! - So Entertaining - What a blast! There are so many things that go into being a stellar tour guide: topical knowledge, of course, but reading the group to know WHICH knowledge to share, awareness of surroundings, mobility and speed of the group, storytelling (versus lecturing) is huge, verbal skills, being personable and vulnerable enough to show personality…our guide, Ty, checked EVERY box! So glad I trusted New Orleans Secrets with our precious vacation time! I’m now obsessed with learning more about Micaela Almonester, Baroness de Pontalba!

Fantastic French Quarter Tour - We did the historic tour of the French Quarter with Dennis. It was an amazing tour. Very informative and a lot of fun. We had a great connection with him right from the start and the tour felt very personal rather than some that can feel like you schlep along while being read a script. He had so many interesting fact about the architecture, the culture and tons of great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Excellent! - Angela was great! The tour was a perfect mix of historical background, architectural details, local gossip and New Orleans legends. We had arrived a little early at the designated meeting spot, so we walked a couple of blocks to the west of the Lafayette No. 1 cemetery. When Angela arrived, her walking tour included a fascinating discussion of the cemetery itself and highlights east of the cemetery. So coincidentally we got a wonderful overview of the entire Gardens District. Highly recommended!

excellent historical walking tour - We took a French Quarter historical ghost tour with Roger and it was great! He was extremely knowledgeable about this history of the area, the buildings we stopped at and any questions we had. The tour lasted about 2 hours and was entirely outside, with periods of short walking and standing. Would definitely take a Secrets Tours again when i'm back in town!
