Fantastic - Absolutely beautiful trail. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the wine tasting was a nice add on. Would definitely recommend anyone who is coming to Nelson to give it a try.

Fun ride, great scenery - Beautiful and fun easy ride around the estuary. It's a good way to see plenty of sea birds. and Bernie were helpful and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was a little perfunctory but we enjoyed it, and had an excellent lunch at the winery.

Great Day Visiting Wineries using E-bikes - Note - TA did not give the correct option to select - we did the self guided e-bike but we did not have the Gentle Cycling Company set anything up for us. We decided to just rent the e-bikes and go it on our own with regards to wineries etc. We booked a table for lunch at Seifried winery and before we went there, we rode out to the beach at Rabbit Island - we didn't stay long, just a quick look and then did a bit of back tracking to Seifried. We had a nice wine tasting and lunch there. My husband had the muscles and really enjoyed them, and I had the chicken sandwich and thought it was okay. After lunch we cycled to Te Mania for another wine tasting. Another nice tasting although they were very busy and it took a bit of time. We were told that there was an excellent place to taste/buy cheese just another 500 M down the road but we didn't do that. In total we rode about 50K and using e-bikes was excellent as a more relaxing option, no sweat involved :-). The Great Taste Trail was fun and beautiful. I am a cyclist and had never tried an e-bike but for this type of thing (meaning I'm not looking for a workout), I absolutely loved it. The company was easy to work with and efficient. They told us that when they open at 9 AM they get a big rush, so we held off and showed up a bit before 10

Cycling , wine and scenery by bicycle is perfect! - The guide who picked us up was very friendly, organized and informative. We had clear instructions. We went to the winery and had lunch and a tasting then cycled back. The bikes were excellent. The scenery and the trail were wonderful!

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY - Family of 8 and we had the best time! Chris gave us amazing tour map and we had such a great day, we rented the E-Bikes which were definitely worth it and enjoyed the beautiful vineyards. There was something for everyone and was so easy to communicate with Chris pick up and drop off points. We will definitely be back for another tour next time we are in Nelson! Loved it!

Great bike hire company - Had a wonderful afternoon cycling the beginning of the Great Taste Trail. My e-bike made it so easy and enjoyable - can’t wait to go back and do some more of this great ride.

Best cycling around Nelson. - We were looked after so well from the moment we booked to the end of the ride. No stone left unturned. We all agreed that the cost was very reasonable considering the standard of the e-bikes.

A must do in Nelson! Delightful bike ride with wine tasting and lunch - Such a fun day! We rode e-bikes along the Great Taste trail , a lovely scenic route along the water. We ended up at Siefried winery where we had a delightful lunch in the garden and wine tasting We are in our 60s and don’t ride bikes regularly but thus 20km ride was made easy and pleasant by the e-bikes. Chris and Bernie are wonderful to work with !

Long day’s ride…. - Long, leisurely ride out to Mapua and very nice stop at a winery made the bike trip enjoyable. That said, it was a very long day in the saddle and casual riders need to prepared.
