Lungomare Tysandros, 40 - We will start by telling you about the origins and history of macaroni and the most famous Sicilian dessert, cannolo. With a cook expert in Sicilian cuisine, you will learn to make macaroni and Sicilian cannolo in an excellent way and with the ancient method.
What will you do?
You will prepare your worktop, dose and knead the simple ingredients correctly, until you get a soft and homogeneous paste, and thanks to the “ferretto” you will make the classic and genuine Sicilian macaroni.
You will learn how to stir the ricotta in the correct way, to make it become an exquisite filling for the Sicilian cannolo. Prepared the cream you will stuff your cannolo indulging in the decoration, choosing between: chopped pistachio, drops of chocolate, orange peel, candied cherries etc.
Finally, you will the taste a selection of creams and pâtés produced handmade, with the best ingredients of our land and you could choose between a glass of good Etna wine or a Sicilian craft beer.
