Up close experience - This was a lovely half-day experience not far from Nairobi, with the opportunity to be out on a lake and to explore an animal sanctuary on foot. Esbon was a friendly and informative driver who picked me up at the hotel and drove me to and from the lake, while we chatted about all manner of Kenyan political, economic, and cultural topics. Then he handed me off to another guide for a brief boat trip approaching the territories of different hippo groupings around the lake, as they dipped their heads in and out of the water. The highlight was the walk around the sanctuary with another guide, where I was able to see zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests up close, while he shared fascinating details about them. If you've done a more extensive safari and are looking for a low-key experience to see these animals on the water and on foot, I recommend this trip.

Awesome private tour - I appreciated the private tour service with Julius. He guided my tour in a way that I could see much and take advantage of the short 2 days despite the disturbances that we face from the safari rally that was taking place coincidentally. I do wish I had a better accommodation for the night.
