- Mutrah Souq - Many people come to Mutrah Corniche just to visit the souq, which retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market albeit housed under modern timber roofing. - Al Alam Palace - Al Alam Palace is the ceremonial palace of His Majesty the Sultan. The palace is located in the heart of the Old Muscat, it is surrounded by the Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts and will soon be facing the upcoming National Museum of Oman. Former Sultanâs used to live in a house called Bait Al Alam which was demolished in the early 70s to build this new Palace in its place to be the official residence of the Sultan of Oman.

Picture worthy - A totally fun experience when the weather is crazy hot. I did the day version as well and worth doing both. And Jamal your hospitality was awesome taking the photos at night was so cool less crowds. While many things are not open the pictures are what you do this one for, with a dinner stop not included but worth doing. They the food the Omani people are awesome and they know hospitality.

Fascinating photo tour of the nightly Muscat - The night tour was indescribably beautiful. Jamal, our guide, picked us up at the hotel on time. Jamal knows exactly the right places for great photos and explains the sights we visit.
