Lucia was great! - Lucia was a great guide! Very attentive and enthusiastic. Train service was smooth as well. The amount of time in Salzburg was enough to see what I wanted to see.

Salzburg is a city of memoir for all people. - Salzburg is my favourite city to visit. It is small but has a lot of history. The cable car to the Fortress is impressive. It was safe and fast. The bread with sausage inside on the square was very delicious, especially the bread. I will remember the taste forever.

A taste of Salzburg! - This was a really nice trip from Munich and was well coordinated. Our guide, Maxine, was very lovely and helpful throughout. She kept us in order and allowed us to have an extra hour in the city when the schedule allowed for it! Do note, though, that this trip was fast and the day goes quickly. If you are wanting more than a few hours I recommend finding a longer tour or traveling yourself. We didn’t get to see everything we wanted to but most of the highlights!

Great day - Great day trip Our guide Susan was great. It's a 10 hour day on public buses and trains. Very tiring day but well worth it.

Interesting and fun. Good recommendation for use of free time. - Jeremy did a great job. He is knowledgeable and infused good humor along with good information. He was good natured during some challenges with trains and bus. I highly recommend this tour and this guide.

avoid the train if you can - The trip itself was great despite the crowd there and so was the guide, I would opt to take a private bus or van there the next time, however, as the train we took gets way packed. The guide at least made sure most of us got seats before the crowd poured in.

Excellent day trip to Salzburg Austria - The Salzburg Tour was fantastic. The Tour guide Emanuella was great and very knowledgable. Train ride was not good on the way to Salzburg (had to stand the entire time) which is a long period almost 2 hours) 4 Star rating (lost the 5th star for the train trip).

Salzburg is beautiful. Public transport vs Chartered is not the best option for an out of city day trip from Munich. - The trip was okay. Train issues caused us multiple delays and with a fixed termination time, the various delays ate into our time in Salzburg. Ultimately, our guide noted a train delay on the way back that resulted in a several hour delay. We met at 4:20 to return and ultimately, the 2 hour trip ended almost five hours later close to 9:00 pm Not all or any of this was necessarily Radius’s fault. Certainly not; but, leads to my conclusion that an out of town excursion they relies on public transportation and not a charted transport puts you at risk of having a poor experience. I would recommend you travel to Salzburg from Munich on your own. Possibly spend the night or at least plan to leave early and stay later.

Spent most of the daywaiting for cancelled trains - Let me start my saying none of what follows was the fault of our guide, Jeremy, who was was competent and calm throughout. Our tour was significantly affected by transport failures. Due to engineering works, our train left from a different station from normal. It was badly overcrowded and many had to stand for the 1hr 45 min journey to Salzburg. The return trip was worse. The through train from Germany never arrived so we had to take a local train across the border to the first Deutsche Bundesbahn station (Freilassing) in Germany. But this train stopped short (reasons unknown) and we all had to transfer to a rail replacement bus. It took several busses and each one stood for 20 minutes before moving off. Freilassing is a small station which was overwhelmed, ran out of bottled water and had just one working toilet. We arrived back at Munich 2 hours late and most of us had forgotten that somewhere in the middle of all the delays, waiting and stress we had visited a the pretty (though touristy) town of Salzburg. The serious point here is that if the transport infrastructure (whose reputation for efficiency had been lost in the past 5 years) cannot be relied upon, then Radius Tours needs to rethink whether they want to offer tours such as this.
