I Left My Heart In Mumbai - Get ready to fall in love with the city of Mumbai. Sid from Namaste Tours and Trips was our amazing, knowledgeable, positive, passionate, and genuine tour guide. He was raised in Mumbai (Bombay), so he knows everything you need to know about this beautiful place. When we landed in BOM, our driver waited for us outside of immigration. We were escorted to our hotel (Taj Mahal Palace) in a private vehicle. The drive was safe and comfortable. Sid took us on a humbling tour of the Dharavi Slums. Make sure to start your day off early (before 8am). It's a MUST DO! You'll also get a glimpse of the lives of the locals as you pass through the train station. Sid is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. He is one of the best storytellers we've ever met. He made us feel safe at at all times. After exploring Mumbai for a few days, Sid arranged for another driver to drop us off to the airport. *Important Tip: Once you enter BOM airport (ticketing), you are not allowed to go back outside. He conducts a relaxed, informative tour and takes time for interactions with residents and other tourists along the way. He offers a range of tours. I highly recommend him for his Dharavi Tour. I suggest you make sure he takes you to sample the delicious street food in the markets at the end of the tour.
