We first will pass through the city of Moshi and its vibrant streets to then head to the dirt road that will take us on a cultural experience with the most famous Mt. Kilimanjaro’s inhabitants, Chagga people. We will see their everyday life: farming, preparing…
- Materuni Waterfalls - The starting point will be at One Bike Shop in the city center. We first will pass through the city of Moshi and its vibrant streets to then head to the dirt road that will take us on a cultural experience with the most famous Mt. Kilimanjaro’s inhabitants, Chagga people. We will see their everyday life: farming, preparing food outside and kids going to the school, as well as experience their great sense of hospitality. Lush coffee, banana and corn plantations will surround us on the way and a Coffee making process tour can be included in the trip. The steep and rough road will take us to the Materuni village where we will have a chance to eat local food and rest. After that, a one kilometer walk will take us to the beautiful Materuni waterfalls where we will be able to swim, refresh and enjoy the afternoon. The ride back will be downhill so hold tight to your bike while enjoying the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro!
