Invigorating days hike in the Atlas Mountains - Well organised, collected on time - 8:40 at designated collection point, by a friendly safe driver in a descent Mercedes people carrier. Drove to Imlil via quick stops for a photo opportunity and visit of an argon oil cooperative. Arrived Imlil at 11:15. Met Brahim our mountain guide who was young full of energy and interesting local knowledge, he himself being the son of a mountain guide and a geography graduate it’s in his blood! Walked through various Barber villages, through some waterfalls and then climbed quite far into the mountains for great air and photo opportunities over about 2 & 1/2 hours. Then descended through a pine wood to a Berber villagers house for late lunch, which was tasty and served by a friendly Berber couple. Then descended further arriving back to Imlil about 16:45. A speedy taxi got us back to Marrakesh for 18:30. This is a test of endurance you need to be fairly fit for it not to be a challenge. That said it was a well organised enjoyable trip.

Hiking experience in Marrakech - We are two Norwegians, living in Switzerland, experienced hikers and wanted more of a hike than a tourist trip with people walking in sandals. We only had one day trip and this was the most authentic trip we could get. It was us two and Mohammad that was a speedgoat and we had to run after! We enjoyed it and experienced sun and snow, best of both with good views and good simple food for lunch! He spoke English and could tell a little bit about the area. This is perfect if you want to avoid “tourists on tour without hiking boots” hike. Bring water, extra clothes, proper shoes! We started the trip with a view stop of the berabrian village and women’s cooperative (making Argan oil etc) then the hike. We hiked approx 12 km, over 900 elv. gain. Perfect for a day trip from Marrakech! 😊

Tailored, unique hiking trip - It was the most authentic experience we could’ve asked for. We’re from London and wanted to look for day trip hikes that’s 5-6 hours long and less than 1.5 hr car ride away from the main city. The guide grew up amongst the villages and are very experienced and knowledgeable of the many trails in the mountains. We were offered options at the beginning of the hike as well as throughout the hike of which trail to choose depending on how adventurous we are. We barely encountered any tourist groups on the way, instead ran into herds of adorable mountain goats. The hiking route planned went through the main waterfall attraction, as well as the lesser known pine woods. What’s particularly exciting was the home cooked lunch at one of the village families. We were greeted into their living room and was served the most authentic Tanjine, bread and salad. They were what the family had each day, fresh and deliciously tasting with pure, simple ingredients. Overall, a tailored, authentic experience.

Excellent guide, I recommend ! - Great day in the mountains! Mohamed is a qualified and very professional guide: kind, smiling, he speaks many languages (French, English etc.), knows his region very well (he lives there) including the geology, fauna and flora, a big plus. The driver is also very friendly, on time and we feel safe on the road, in the mountains as in Marrakech. Very good meal also. A great team, pro and dynamic that I recommend without hesitation!

Great hiking day in the high atlas with even better guide - Booked a 1day hike in the Atlas Mountains & had a great time. We were a small group, but after arriving in Imlil we were picked up by our guide Ibrahim for a 4 hr , 700m altitude hike through pine forests and exposed trails up to 2500m to have a great surround view of Mt Toukbal, the Atlas Mountains and the desert towards Marrakesh. Ibrahim our guide was not only very professional but also just a great source of knowledge about his Amazigh (Berber) culture , the mountains and life in general, and nice & genuinely caring -and he spoke good English. We had also a great veggie-chicken salad & tagine lunch on top. Highly recommended!

Accessible hiking - Hiking in the Atlas for 3 adults. Around 1000m of altitude difference, rather accessible. Difficult weather conditions with snow, rain and fog. But Mohamed our guide was very attentive, answered all our questions by explaining Moroccan culture to us. We'll have to come back for the view. Good lunch at altitude with homemade tagine. We would simply have to bring rain gear to lend because we were very cold. Very good activity.
