This is a *MUST* do while visiting Moorea - Audrey and Stevenson are so knowledgeable and hospitable. This was easily my favorite activity I did while on Moorea. You will learn about the culture of the island and eat traditional foods. The conversation was amazing as well. It was really cool to hear the history of the island and then also share about our lives in the USA. They were equally as interested in our lives as we were theirs which made the whole experience intimate and unforgettable. Maururu!

A Highlight or our Moorean Adventure - We loved every moment of this Moorean encounter and it was a highlight of our week. The setting was outstanding.... in the middle of pineapple fields, amongst the highest jagged peaks of Moorea and surrounded by Stevenson's tropical gardens. Audrey and Stevenson are personable, knowledgeable, and truly enjoy what they do. They loved sharing about Moorean culture and their own backgrounds. It was very hands on and interactive. After preparing everything during the first few hours, we all sat down together to savor it. Audrey and Stevenson enjoyed the outstanding meal as much as we did. We enjoyed lively conversation and lingered with them. We also departed with enough leftover food to enjoy it again for our evening meal. This was an epic culinary experience.

Most authentic experience during 7 days in Mo'orea - Stephenson and Audrey were amazing hosts going well beyond teaching us about the local food and cooking techniques, cooking with banana and hibiscus leaves, preparing coconuts and poisson cru, etc. Stephenson was such interesting person to talk to growing up in Bora Bora without electricity, living in France for 20 years, and now back in Mo'orea with his organic farm and cooking school. We very much enjoyed learning about Polynesian culture from both a local perspective that has seen great change and also from a global view. Of course, the food was amazing! Highly recommended!

An absolutely wonderful experience! - Stevenson and Audrey gave an amazing cooking class that included historic facts about the islands of Tahiti, the environment, the farming, and the food. They were such wonderful teachers that all of us in the class felt comfortable and became friends. The dishes we learned to make were delicious, and I will make this style of poisson cru for the rest of my life!

An Absolute Must Do in Moorea - This was such an amazing experience!!!!! Chef Stevenson and Audrey create an environment of fun, warmth and through food give a rich history of Polynesia, the culture and the importance of eating sustainably. The hands on training was great and also very rewarding to enjoy eating the labors of our "hard work". When making the dishes chef Stevenson encourages you to make it your own, be inspired and have fun. I highly recommend doing the group class because you get to meet other travelers, share tips on things to do, and connect with people because of the joyous shared experience of cooking. You also get sent a cookbook so that you can recreate the delicious dishes when you get home. Allergies and intolerances are also taken into consideration such as gluten and lactose. Add this on your to do list when visiting Moorea
