Best wine tour ever! - Claudio was an amazing guide and driver and companion on this trip. We had an amazing day in the countryside. Recommend to anyone wanting to experience wine close to Rome.

Perfect day trip from Rome - Spending the day with Claudio was a highlight of our trip to Italy! We went on this tour in November of 2023- the weather was perfect for the itinerary for the day! He was very communicative, which made pick up and drop off seamless. We had an incredible experience seeing the archeological sites before heading to the vineyard. We got a special tour of the grounds of the vineyard and could eat the grapes off the vine during our walk with the owner. Claudio then took us to lunch at a quaint restaurant that had the feeling of a place where local families gather on the weekends to enjoy time together. The food and wine was amazing, and the service was incredible every where we went. Claudio really made the day extra special and it was such an easy time spending this time with him. He was so personable and easy going. Would highly recommend him on any tour, but especially this one if you want to get out of the city and spend the day in the country side drinking wine! A unique wine tasting experience - A hidden gem- the picturesque Tuscolo Archaeological Park with the ruins of Emperor Tiberius’s palace overlooking an amazing landscape and then proceeding to Frascati for a marathon of wine tasting at one of the best wineries where a 15th century rock mine has been converted into wine cellars. A unique experience with an excellent guide, Claudio who took very good care of us.

Highly recommend this tour! Claudio will show you a memorable time outside of Rome! - Claudio was wonderful!! He was very knowledgeable about the historical site we visited, beautiful scenery. The wine tasting was amazing, authentic wine caves and a lovely hostess/owner with a delicious selection of wines. White, red and a lovely dessert wine to end with. The restaurant Claudio chose for lunch was like a home cooked meal. Cozy fire, and a friendly staff, and delicious food made lunch very memorable.

Amazing Private Frascati wine tour & tasting by train - We had an amazing day with Claudio, from the moment we met him at Termini station he was very friendly and welcoming, his tour is authentic, super interesting and he is very knowledgeable of his region. The winery we visited was very typical and the owner was passionate and gave us a great tour. We had an amazing traditional lunch at a restaurant he reserved for us. We enjoyed our day and highly recommend him. We can’t wait to come back to Rome to book another tour with him. Grazie Claudio!

Amazing Trip to Frascati Region with Claudio - Claudio’s personalized tour was an amazing experience. He picked us up at our residence mid-morning and we stopped for coffee and a pastry on the way to the Frascati region. We then drove up winding roads through the countryside, up to the ancient archeological site of Tusculum for a hike around the site with amazing views of the the region. Claudio was very knowledgeable about the site and details about the surrounding areas. We then visited the 16th century winery for a tasting and tour. The owner gave us a tour of the vineyards and caverns under the farmhouse, explaining in detail their wine making process and the history of the property. We then drove to a local restaurant for lunch and a second tasting experience. The restaurant terrace was so beautiful and relaxing with cascading flowers and plants. The chef had recommended an exquisite lunch but also offered us to choose from the menu, if desired. Claudio was patient and ready at a moments notice to pick us up and drive us back to Rome. We loved the experience and highly recommend the tour if looking for a shorter tour from the typical whole day trip to the Tuscan region. The trip was 5-6 hours and only a short 45min drive from Rome.

Amazing Wine Experience - Claudio was the absolute best on this tour. He took us to some amazing ruins before the wine tour. The winery tour was fascinating and the wines super yummy. The best part was seeing and tasing wines down in the volcanic cave cellars. After the winery he chose a wonderful restaurant that took my husband's allergies into consideration and worked with us when we wanted to purchase additional glasses over and above what the tour offered. Best way to end a vacation. Thank you Claudio!!!!

Good tour but have questions. - Claudio gave us a nice tour with an archeological site, winery, and restaurant. Our only complaint is that we paid a great deal of money for the tour and have written confirmation of pickup point at the Rome port. But then we were told by Claudio we would be charged an extra large sum of money for the pick up point outside of Rome. We had to pay the extra in cash- seemed a bit odd to us and normal business practice. Viator did have our credit card but we were told we had to pay cash. We would appreciate an explanation.
