Awesome Experience - One of the best guides we've ever had. Knowledgeable and informative; he asked us how much detail we wanted, and when we said a lot, he gave us a lot. He also gave us some homemade (by his mother) treats, a jar of honey, figs, and some other treats....definitely an above and beyond guide. Knossos was amazing, as was the cave of Zeus.

It’s all about the quality of the guide. - You could not ask for a better day out. The various stops during the day were well planned and highly interesting, but the best part of it all was Angie, our fantastic driver and guide. She is professional in all aspects, extremely knowledgeable about the history of Crete (and many other things!), but she is also funny, down to earth and very good company. When we return to Crete, we will ask for her personally to lead our next excursion. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous sights, great guides! - Excellent day with Angie as our guide. Very knowledgeable, funny, and easy to get along with. Met the other guide, Kostas, at lunch in a wonderful Taverna with stellar food. Everyone is so fun and the sights are great. 10/10.

A fabulous tour of Crete’s highlights - We had a fabulous time with Kostas. Even if the weather was somewhat less than great he kept us both entertained and informed throughout the trip. In particular, his knowledge if the ancient world and desire to spark original thoughts really kept us on our toes! We loved the little extras Kostas brought to the trip - from a visit to an olive oil factory to the honey from his family. We can thoroughly recommend this trip!

An experience not to be missed. - We had a great day. If you don't want to go wrong and are looking for the best, Kostas is the one for you. The tour is shaped on your requests and in addition Kostas will propose you some additional special stops. Kostas is very punctual and helpful, an excellent driver and his van very comfortable. Very good with children. He will pamper you with produce from his parents' farm. You will judge if the price is adequate: in our opinion it is! Good luck Kostas.

Kostas will exceed your expectations! - First Class all the way. Luxury VIP vehicle is an understatement. For the price I had high expectations. Kostas exceeded all my expectations. Knowledgeable! Pround of his company! Proud of his country. Proud to show it to you. We asked for a personal tour of the Museum and he recommended the tour guide, set it up and assured me he only works with the best. She was the best! We had 4 personal tours scheduled throughout Greece, she was exactly what Kostas promised...the best! His stated goal at the beginning was to make sure we had fun. We did!

Must Use Kostas - If you want the full meal deal you need to use this company. Kostas was very informative and very knowledgeable about the tour. The van was awesome. I’m talking first class transportation. Kostas had so many extra things to try food wise and snack wise that was part of it. Most his mother had made which was a special touch. If you want VIP treatment use this company.

Priceless experience - I had always wanted to visit the island where my grandfather was born but had never seen and since we made it, despite the nightmare of the pandemic, the only thing left was to find a tour that would show us as much of the island as possible. The only way to describe our choice is that we hit the Jackpot. Costas took us on an incredible tour but our luck didn't end there. He offered to take us to a beach called holy gorge the next day which when we googled we yelled YESSS. He took us there in his pickup truck because the road is horrible the last few miles. The road stops right before the entrance of the gorge which we had to trek in order to get to the beach. The trekking took 20 minutes more or less and it was super easy. Once we reached the beach we were in awe. We stayed there that long that we had to use the flashlights on our phones to trek back. We would have paid any amount Costas had asked for that experience but he refused to accept any even for fuel. He called it repatriation gift. Honest hospitality at its very best.

When you’re here, you’re family! - Go no further if you’re looking for a customizable Crete tour conducted in style and comfort within a relaxed and humorous atmosphere. In fact, my kids asked if Kosta was my “brother from another mother”. Pro: Great with the kids Filled with interesting information Only excellent driver on the island Con: We should have booked an additional day and seen/learned even more… You know how we all have that one uncle, not the crazy one, the other one who has you hanging on every word of a colorful story? Well, that’s “Uncle” Kosta who epitomized Cretan hospitality with a well balanced mix of historical facts, local lore, Greek mythology, cultural idiosyncrasies, hands-on lessons of flora and fauna, tastes, sights and sounds of the island. His dry humor and story telling captured the attention of the entire family and kept us all engaged. His flexibility and breadth of knowledge shown through with side detours and deep dives into our own varied topics of interest (Food, Mythology, WWII, etc). Not one part of the trip was “canned”, we were always presented with options and candid recommendations and feedback, from stops to restaurants. Additionally, Kosta made himself available during the remainder of our vacation to call if we had any questions, required additional recommendations, etc. A son of Crete, Kosta is an ambassador to those seeking to experience the wonders of Cretan life, which I credit to his desire to treat those around him like family (or at least the family you like). Thank you Uncle Kosta, we hope to see you again in the future. Cheers. ***Note, I’ve relied on Trip Advisor reviews for ever and have never taken the time to write one. This experience compelled me to do so… don’t miss out!
