Excellent! Enjoyed every moment. - Brilliant tour of Liverpool! Have already done one history tour on the origins and development of Liverpool centred mainly around the docks area. This one, Liverpool Imperial Tour, led by Helen, reached into the areas, geographically, historically, culturally, that the first one didn’t cover. As Helen said, it’s like a jigsaw, putting all the pieces together, and doing more than one tour helps with this. Thank you!

The Livebird guide, protector of tourists ;) - The truth is that the route through Liverpool has been great and Ivan, who is charming, has made it very enjoyable and full of anecdotes that take you to medieval and modern Liverpool at the same time. Without a doubt the best connoisseur of this city!

Brilliant - Fantastic in depth information & stories about the history & development of Liverpool & it's most iconic buildings. Our guide was brilliant, so knowledgeable & entertaining. Loved it all, especially finding the old police station (now a pub) where Charles Dickens researched police work for his novels, hearing about the early trading & shipping around the port & seeing where Paul & John were at school/art college when they met. Wear comfy shoes & take water. There are opportunities for loo stops on the route.

Walking Tour - part of a Cruise Visit - We visited Liverpool earlier in the year doing a lot of walking around this great city. There are so many impressive buildings which we admired but didn't know any more about them. Vincent was a great guide who brought these buildings alive for us. An example was the White Star Building, the owners of the Titanic, Vincent described how worried relatives of crew members were gathered outside the building after the news broke of the Titanic, we could just picture the scene. This was just one of many such stories. Vincent took us inside two amazing buildings, I won't spoil the tour by naming them. He also managed the tour very well given the heavy rain darting between various places for cover. The joining instructions were easy to find. Thanks again too Vincent for such an enjoyable tour.
