Don’t miss this activity in Merida - This is a must do for anyone visiting Merida. Laura was an attentive, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We ate so much good food and learnt a lot about Yucatan food culture. Don’t eat breakfast beforehand!

A detailed journey through the food of Merida - Would thoroughly recommend this trip for all foodies. Our guide Diego really looked after us on the tour and gave us a detailed lowdown on all the different local fruits from the market. We also tried tacos and tamales and this delicious pork rind which we also made into tacos! We then walked to a fish market to have ceviche and rounded things off with gelato. The tour was very much geared to ingredients and provenance of these things so it could be a bit slow on the eating side of things for some people. Despite it being a very hot day, it was still very enjoyable. Diego even sent us a recipe book via email at the end!

A wonderful food tour - One of the best food tours we have done and we have done many over the world! Diego was a delightful knowledgable companion for the 3 hour tour. We’ve never tasted so many delicious foods including fruits, spices, drinks and ice cream and Diego explained how ingredients were put together for each dish. He also sent us a list of what we tasted and a little online cookbook! Highly recommend his tour

Skip Breakfast - Luz expertly guided us through the market, tasting many different Mérida specialties. The ceviche and gelato to finish the tour we're delicious! We even went back to Pola for more gelato on our own. Skip breakfast as you will be very full by the end of this tour.

Fascistic street food tour - This was incredible fun. We got to taste some really great street food, as well as local fruit, spices, and drinks. We also learned some history and local custom. The gelato at the end was to die for. 15/10 highly recommend you need to book Diego!

culinary walking tour filling your tummy. - Diego was a very knowledgable guide and first introduced us to a lot of vegetables and fruits on the market. He then took us to places where we were sure we would taste good and well cooked food without running the risk of catching a stomach bug. :-) We can highly recommend the tour!

A Must When Visiting Merida - You must take this tour. We learned so much about food from the Yucutan. Diego did a wonderful job explaining the food and spices to our group. We had never tried - or even heard of - many of the tasty treats. Five stars!

Excellent tour guide and local experience around Mérida - This was a real highlight of our trip to Mexico. We spent the majority of the day in a local market, trying so much food (both savoury and sweet) and our guide Diego was really knowledgeable and made sure we got the most out of our experience. Standouts for us were the tacos al pastor with pineapple (we went on Sunday), the lechon and the gelato at the end. Would 100% recommend.

A Highlight during our stay in Mexico! - Diego was an amazing guide. He brought us to the big market hall, where we tasted a lot of different typical mexican food. We enjoyed the tour very much and learnt a lot about the types of meals and how they are being prepared. We highly recommend the Tour but would advise to have no breakfast on this day 😉
