During our private touring experience of Melgaço and Monção, we offer travelers a chance to explore the northern region of Portugal brimming with beauty and local flavors. Commencing in the picturesque town of Melgaço, tucked between mountain ranges, visitors can behold the historic castle and take leisurely walks around the stunning natural park. Following this, we move to Soalheiro, a famous winery, to divulge in the winemaking secrets and sample some of the finest Vinho Verde from the locality.
Next up, we’ll explore Monção, a lovely town perched by the River Minho. Here they can immerse themselves in the breathtaking palace and gardens of the Brejoeira estate, savor the local dishes, and learn about the region’s history and customs at the Monção Museum.
