Meknes Medina - Pickup from your stay in Fez, Drive passing through Ain Lah, Royal family firm, Zagotta, Dam Achahad & Rif mountain.
Stops to enjoy the landscape, cool air, and capture photos. Arrive at Volubilis an attractive preserved Roman ruins. Together we will learn more about the historical and the cultural Roman city by looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple.
Free time to discover the place as you pleasant. Next stop, town Moulay- Idriss which built by Moulay Idriss. Opened just for Muslims, but it gives you an excellent impression, by taking a look at the hallway of the town.
After lunch,
Discover walls with monumental gates dating back to XVII-century as Royal Palace, Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis, Bab Mansour and El Heri es-Souan huge granaries and stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers.
Go to the underground channels which bring fresh water from Middle Atlas Mountains
Stop in Moulay Ismail Mausoleum
Visit Place-El-Hedim great monumental and other places
Drive Back to Fez city.

Good day out. - Driver was first class and the vehicle was brand new. Travelled first to Volubilis which as expected was fascinating. Well worth the visit. Then drove to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun which is a lovely little town built across two hills. Quite stunning as you approach it. Drove through the narrow streets. After that drove to Mekness where our driver/guide took us to a local restaurant for lunch. It was very good. Had time for a wander round some of Mekness but many of the major attractions were under renovation. It is good to see that money is being spent on such major refurbishment. We enjoyed our day trip and would recommend Morocco Fez Tours.

Volubilis and surrounding area - Redauoen (our guide) is amazing. Kind, knowledgeable, funny, and prompt. He tailored our tour to fit our desires and abilities. His suggestions for food and photo opportunities were spot on. He was prepared for all situations, including lending us an umbrella at the site when the temperature soared.

Great day tour! - We spent a lovely day with our driver Nasser ElHour going on this tour. It was very hot 97 degrees Fahrenheit and he was very solicitous and helpful in making sure we were okay. He took us to a lovely restaurant in Meknes & and a driving tour of the city. Thank you Nasser!

Would recommend - Nasser was an excellent driver. He arrived on time and at the designated pickup location. He gave us information and guidance when we wanted and left us alone to explore when we asked.we felt safe with him and enjoyed the experience.

Wonderful day trip from Fes with Jalal - We had a wonderful stay in Fes at your Riad. Youssef attended to all our needs during the stay. The house is as described in the Airbnb listing and we loved the traditional decor and how each room was furnished. We really appreciate you allowing us to check-in early and offer breakfast. We would highly recommend the riad to anyone visiting Fes.

Great day trip from Fes - We had a great time with our driver Toufik for this day trip of Volubilis Moulay Idriss & Meknes. We visited Volubilis in the morning and then had a quick lunch before entering Moulay Idriss village and taking panorama photos of this village, which was big surprised experience we had during this trip. Then we visited the underground channels and the famous gate and the medina in Meknes. We came back Fes in the evening.

FEZ only - Fez is fantastic. A couple of days minimum. Meknes is being restored (January 2024) and the truth is that one day is enough. Moulay Idris is not worth it. It is a sacred place but it is attractive to secular people and I don't know how to enter mosques or madrasas.
Making the trip to see them from the door is not worth it. The surrounding landscape is very beautiful. I would not repeat Meknes.

Amazing Volubilis - Volubilis is a must see, incredible experience. Meknes was busy with construction and moulay Idris not much to see. Personally I would skip that part. Our driver was very nice however vehicle's air con did not work well

Comfortable pace - We through that is group tour but backend is not. That is private car with enough time with comfortable pace for our visit. River red1 is a polite and patient people with very good english. That is good tour we quite enjoy of it.
