ten out of ten - On May 17 I had the opportunity to explore the wonders of Colombian coffee through a tour in Las Palmitas, near Medellín. Our guide, Daniel, welcomed us with a warmth that only predicted a memorable day. From the first moment, he proved to be an expert in the geography, history and culture of Colombia, answering each of our questions with an eloquence and calmness that left us deeply impressed. The beginning of the tour took us to the foot of the mountain, where the owners of the "La Arrinconada" farm were waiting for us. We embarked on a short and fun 10-minute mule ride to the top, equipped with traditional hats and ponchos that added an authentic touch to the experience. Upon arrival, we were treated to a detailed coffee tasting that not only satisfied our palate, but also our curiosity about the origins and processes of coffee on the farm. The dining experience was equally impressive. We enjoyed traditional dishes served on a banana leaf, which included a combination of local flavors such as banana, chorizo, ground beef and rice, topped with a delicious dessert. All this in a natural environment that invited relaxation and enjoyment. Lina, our second guide inside the estate, was equally charming. Under his leadership, we participated in a coffee berry picking competition that turned out to be both educational and entertaining. Our victory in the contest rewarded us with bracelets with the colors of the Colombian flag, a memory that we will wear with pride. The views from the mountain were spectacular, a panorama of intense green that seemed to extend infinitely. But beyond the scenery, it was the kindness of everyone who accompanied us that made this tour exceptionally recommendable. Ultimately, my family and I were delighted with this experience. It is a tour that offers not only a deep understanding of coffee and its culture, but also a genuine approach to Colombian warmth. Without a doubt, it is an adventure that we will recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and enriching experience in Colombia. ### English ### On May 17th, I had the chance to explore the wonders of Colombian coffee through a tour in Las Palmitas, near Medellín. Super friendly tour and family friendly - We went on this tour at the last minute it felt like but it was worth it every penny. Christian was a super friendly tour guide that allowed us to explore his family farm of multiple generations while learning much about coffee. Can’t recommend it enough. Me and my three friends had a lot of fun and hope others take the tour and experience what we did!

THE BEST TOUR - Michael and Christian (and his dad) were THE BEST tour guides and host. I will MOST definitely recommend this tour when in Medellin Colombia. They are super nice and shared so much information. This was one of my favourite tours from start to finish. Michael explained a lot on the ride and in between. Christian was absolutely amazing and so sweet. He really did such an amazing job with this tour and made it super fun. We all enjoyed and left super happy. You get so much with this tour so it’s worth it. Michael should always be the tour guide and Christian should continue to do these tours because it was awesome. I hope others can take part in this experience too. Thank you to you both for such a great time!

Amazing - I love this tour. You have a great view and they are very kind people. Micheal and Jesus are very attentive. The owner of the plantation explain the whole process with many examples. Like really working out in the field. A totally great experience. I recommend you to take this tour to experience it for yourself. No money is worth this place.

An Engaging and Interactive Experience! - Michael and Jesus were very informative and helpful in the travel and translation of certain safety and necessary information, they also participated in the experience. Christian is the owner of the coffee farm, which is a generational ownership. He is so knowledgeable, comedic and really makes the learning experience interactive but also educational. You can tell that he loves what he does, and has a deep passion towards all that he does. This is a must do experience, and you won’t regret it! The views are immaculate and every part of the experience was enjoyable.
