We commence our voyage from Kutaisi towards Imereti and Samegrelo at the break of dawn, at 9 AM. Our route passes through the mythical plain of Kolkheti. A land steeped in legend, it is here that the Argonauts, under the guidance of Jason, absconded with the Golden Fleece. It’s also in the neighboring mountains where Prometheus met his fate, bound to a rock. This place has been the home ground for infamous warriors of yore and the site of remarkable happenings.
