The surrounding countryside offers red cliffs, oleander and doves. And if you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of some Barbary apes. Bird-watchers will enjoy a trip to the waterfalls, in addition to walkers who can enjoy the area at any time of year. There are plenty of places to have lunch with a view over the waterfalls from their terraces. A short walk will bring you to the top of the falls from where you can see small and constantly active mills.

Ouzoud Waterfalls are one of the most stunning sites in High Atlas. They inhabit the quaint village of Tanaghmeit, situated in Azilal province and are roughly 154 kilometers from Marrakech city, towards the northeast. Embark on an early journey from Marrakesh to reach these astonishing waterfalls, known for their 110-meter high cascade. This breathtaking site is one of Morocco’s finest natural attractions. Amidst the surrounding landscape, you’ll discover crimson cliffs, flourishing oleanders, and cozy doves. If fortunate, you might even spot a few Barbary apes. For bird enthusiasts and hikers, the waterfalls offer an unmissable experience throughout the year. Numerous lunch spots are available, each offering a magnificent view of the falls from their decks. A brisk walk will lead you to the fall’s crest where you can see the constantly operating small mills.

VERY GOOD, PUNCTUAL AND HELPFUL - They picked us up on time at our hotel, the bus is very comfortable and clean, they make a stop to stretch their legs and go to the bathroom at a Gas Station where there are more tourists going on the same excursion.
The driver is friendly and helpful. The one way trip is 3 hours but since the bus is comfortable there is no problem. When you get off the bus there is a guide who is a friend of the driver, I suppose, who for €3 will take you on a tour of the waterfalls, I recommend taking it because if not you can get lost along the path. It is recommended to wear closed shoes. When the waterfall tour ends, they take you to a restaurant that they consider to be the best, for me it was nothing more, the food is good but nothing out of this world.
Communication is excellent through WhatsApp or email, they respond very quickly.

GOOD - A big thank you to our driver Driss and our guide Harmid Tarzan! They were friendly and always had the answers to our questions (even more!). Ouzoud is an incredible discovery (although we thought it would be the tourist spot too many). The journey is very beautiful (also long) whether in the morning or in the evening at sunset. THANKS !

Good - "I really liked the available logistics to reach Ouzoud, from a comfortable vehicle to smooth and guided driving. Super satisfied, driver very nice, and the guide was super nice. We went two people, one of us is in a wheelchair, and the guide guy was super nice and helpful, really recommend taking the tour. Amazing waterfall view. They even found a good place for a wheelchair to see the beautiful view. The food was super good. The driver o guide guy had a lot of respect, o patience. It's not easy to have wheelchair users with you in the group, but they took care of us in the best possible way. Highly recommend that activity to anyone even wheelchair users.
