Medina - THE RALLY CONCEPT:
The group will be divided into teams
Teams will be distinguished by colored armbands
The teams will have a special adventure in the city of Ocher, which will
bring them closer to the daily life of the Marrakchis and who
will allow you to discover the old Medina of Marrakech in a different way,
its souks and alleys.
each team will have at its disposal a road-book which will allow
teams to orient themselves in the medina to look for
specific places.
Arrived at the different check points, the participants of each
team will face
trials and challenges before continuing their adventure.
Mystery characters will also be on the course and that
participants of each team must find by following
indications.
Once found, they must request their signature as
proof of passage.

Contests would take the form of an unseen trial (a blind spice tasting at a herb shop), a competition for the most novel picture, discovery of a unique object (purchased / found / exchanged) that isn’t a part of the 100 dirham prize pool given to each group, a photograph depicting the activity, and optionally a five-line verse describing the ambiance of the bazaars and Jamaa El Fna square

A complete scam - This was a complete scam. We paid 350 euros for 4 adults and 4 young kids under 10. The description said it would be a 4 hour and 30 mins activity. It lasted under 2 hours. We were sent into the medina on our own (fine) however the guide books we were given were not updated, pictures of shops that were meant to guide us, no longer exist, so the entire thing made no sense and we got lost. On the description page of the activity it also says we’d be given some cash to spend for shopping, there was not a single dime. I have screen shots of my conversation with the supposed “guide” complaining about it all. He said the money was there but that we didn’t see it. Yeah, ok.
