- Mandalay Hill - Good morning from Mandalay. Our guide and driver will be at the hotel lobby to escort you for Mandalay exploration. Firstly, we will drive to Mandalay jetty and enjoy boat trip to Mingun (Just 12 KM on the west bank upstream from Mandalay). The wild west of Mandalay sight lists includes Settawya Paya (the valued shrine with a footprint of the Buddha), Mingun Pahtotawgyi (one of the world’s largest chides built by King Bodaw Paya), Mingun Bell (the World renowned ringing, 90 tons weight), and Hsinbyumepaya (a representation of the Sulamani Paya) which stands atop Mt.Meru. Collect the historical data and epic photos, then, return to Mandalay. After lunch, we will visit Mandalay Royal Palace and learn about the history of the last kingdom. Continue sightseeing with Ku Tho Daw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book; Golden Monastery, famous for its wood carving. At the end of the tour, we will explore the major destination, Mandalay Hill and take a glance from the hill and enjoy the panoramic sunset view of Mandalay. Then we will transfer to our hotel, relax and take a review on our today’s activities, write it down on our travel diaries.

Morning pleasant boat ride from Mandalay to the pretty massive and beautiful Mingun Pagoda will be just worth a start of the day. Walking around all of the main sites once we are off the boat and coming to witness the monuments from all the four sides, we will be amazed by how all monuments are standing. While driving around Mandalay, looking over the scene of the old ancient palace is the chance to imagine the heyday of the Myanmar Kingdoms. The greatness of Myanmar people and belief will capture us during the moments at ancient Monastery. Taking a glance from the hills of Mandalay and enjoying the panoramic sunset view of Mandalay will be one reason for having contact with the rural upper Myanmar culture.
