A great insight into food and culture in Mandalay - This tour combines two of my favourite things, bicycling and eating! I was the only one on this tour on the day that I picked, so I had a private tour with Moh Swe. She speaks excellent English and was able to give me lots of insight into Myanmar foods and culture. We stopped at several restaurants and Moh Swe ordered many types of foods and drinks. We enjoyed foods such as tea leaf salad, samosas, Shan noodles, and some sweets. The bicycling was easy because the area that we covered was fairly small. This is a fun activity for kids of all ages.

Very delicious and insightful - We had an amazing afternoon with our guide Moh Swe. She not only showed us a wide variety of burmese food but we also talked about Myanmar and Mandalay in general. We learned a lot and will not be hungry again for the next few days. Going around by bike in Mandalay was a bit adventurous, but we survived :D We highly recommend this tour. Thanks for everything. It was great.

Wonderful food + motorbike evening tour - This is an absolutely fantastic tour, combining the fun of travelling around Mandalay like the locals do with a range of delicious food. Moh Swe was a brilliant guide: very thoughtful about the tour experience, and a very engaging dining partner, full of interesting observations about Myanmar and questions about my home country. I appreciated her efforts to involve me in the ordering process, despite the language gap between me and the restaurant staff! I would recommend this tour to anybody who likes food - and make sure you start hungry because you will get a lot to eat!

Female - It was an amazing afternoon in Mandalay with a brand new bamboo bike, good food and excellent local people. Swe and Swan were the perfect hosts, they are funny, very kind and passionate about their country and its food what made for a great conversation. I really appreciated Swan help while taking the cross roads as there are almost no traffic lights and not even stop signs and a lot of traffic!!! And I recommend they put a bell or horn on the bikes. A good “rule of thumbs” is SAFETY FIRST! As of it, I had a great time and a full stomach.

Absolutely superb! - We met our wonderfully friendly guide who set us up with our bicycles, make sure you get a cycle that’s a correct size and take time to adjust it to your liking before you set off, you won’t get a chance on the road! Our first stop was MingLaBar! a local restaurant. Strangely we had eaten at this restaurant the night before our tour, wasn’t an issue, our guide simply ordered some wonderful dishes we hadn’t tried such as chicken curry with potato, pork and black bean sauce and tea leaf salad. The food was all superb and there was a lot of it! We then moved through the traffic of Mandalay to our next stop, a tea house. Filled with locals and bustling this was absolutely superb, our guide ordered keema and banana oplatta which was washed down with some sweet tea. It felt great to get amongst the locals and immerse in local day to day activity. We had a great chat with our guide who was curious about customs and normality back home and we in turn were curious about local customs and life. Our guide was a big Ed Sheeran fan and was also curious about other aspects of British Pop culture including the a Royal Family, we must have talked for hours, it was great! We then moved to Chinatown where we sat at a roadside eatery and enjoyed a fantastic bowl of noodles, chicken and tofu paste, seriously tasty stuff. Again, we must have sat for hours talking about the cultures of Britain and Myanmar, again both our guide and ourselves had a great time. We were unable to go to Zegyo Market as it was closed due to a Buddhist holiday, we made our way back to the hotel and called it a day. All in all we had a fantastic time, our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, very funny and had a great deal of experience all of which culminated in a great day. No problems recommending this tour, you’ll learn a lot and eat a lot, what’s not to like?!! Thank you for a great day.
