Since my venture began in 2017, I remain the sole cycle tour guide in Marais Poitevin. Eventually in 2018, I went a step further in providing combined traditional boat and bicycle tour packages. I introduced a unique product in 2023 named ‘Discovery Day: In the Footsteps of the Monk Builders’. This is a well-rounded experience that begins with a one hour aquatic journey, followed by a visit to the ancient ruins of the Maillezais Abbey. We then cycle to the village of Maillé nestled in Maraichin, where a hearty lunch awaits us at the port. The day culminates with a visit to a local craft brewery, where you can sample some exquisite abbey beer. This is a one-of-a-kind offering and unmatched in its diversity.
