Great for a beginner - Very friendly and welcoming. Not for more experienced snorkeling but excellent for a beginner or someone timid in the water. The guide stays right with you and keeps careful watch over the group. The price is reasonable and does not require a long boat ride as the reef is a short distance off of shore.

Small, guided, snorkeling tour - The trip itself was great! We saw a sea turtle and eagle ray, as well as a variety of fish. Our guide took pictures underwater and sent them to us- free of charge. The only problem was finding a cab to take us to the other side of town from the cruise port, confirming a meeting time, and finding the boat. Once we figured that out, it was a wonderful hour in the water!

Great snorkeling in Costa Maya!!! - We took a taxi ($4 each) (10 minute ride) from the cruise port. Axel, the boat captain was great and had all the safety & snorkeling equipment. David, our guide, was in the water the whole time with us and guided us to the different reefs and pointed out different species. We saw turtle, stingray, eels, etc... and took pictures with his gopro which were emailed to us for FREE. The boat ride to the reef was approximately 5 minutes and we were in the water for approximately one hour.

Great snorkeling!!!! - My family and I had a great time with Axel (boat captain) and David, our guide). We took a taxi (10 minutes) from the cruise port ($4 each) to the boat. There were nine of us on board. They had life jackets & all snorkel gear. It was a 5-10 minute trip to the reef. The water was crystal clear. David, our guide, who was in the water with us the whole time brought us to different reefs. We saw sting rays, turtle, eel and lots of other beautiful fish. David took pictures of us with his gopro and emailed us the pictures for FREE. We were in the water for approximately fifty minutes which was just the right amount of time.

Snorkeling was amazing! - We booked a snorkel trip and it was amazing! David and crew were very accommodating, pausing for us to take bird photos en route to the reef and making sure our camera gear stayed dry when it rained briefly. They were careful to make sure we knew not to touch the delicate corals, and the masks they provided had glass lenses and were of better quality than the cheap ones we brought. Once we reached the reef and got into the water, we got to see so many beautiful fish! The snorkel guide pointed out many different animals including spiny lobsters and other species that were hiding in the reef. Even on a cloudy day, it was a great time! The restaurant at the location was also very good, great service on the beach as we relaxed after our trip! After the trip they sent us underwater photos of us taken by the guide - such a nice touch! We will be back!

Actually saw sea turtles - I enjoyed getting to see sea turtles in the wild. I didn't get sea sick on the ride out which I was afraid might happen. I had a little trouble with my snorkel so the guide was kind and gave me a life preserver and towed me around. All in all a good tour.

Magical experience - We sailed with David as capitano and Enduardo as guide in the water towards the reef. After putting on our flippers, we lowered ourselves into the magical underwater world. We swam among beautiful fish in 1000 colors and even among rays and turtles! Thank you for this experience!

Great weather great day beautiful ocean - Had a great time saw turtles and rays guide was good would do again anytime. Transport to and from would be nice but taxi was easy
