Incredible all the way around! - This excursion was incredible. Jhoana was an amazing tour guide. On the Bacalar Lagoon, she made the most amazing guacamole for us to eat. They always had cold drinks and the lunch included tacos that were so so good. The van was comfortable and cool. The ruins and water was incredible. Most people in our group (14) said that it was the most amazing water that they have ever swam in. We were back in time to get back on the ship. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing trip and experience - Best tour of our cruise ports so far ! Everything was so well organised from start to finish - Charley met us at port and once all guests on board off we went - drinks and AC on board to keep cool. Charley so informative and friendly and everything ran so smoothly was such a fantastic trip - highly recommend as unlike some others we got out to swim in the lagoon !!! Back with time to spare at the port !

Great excursion of the Chaccohben ruins and Bacalar lagoon with informative narration and illustrations - Great excursion of the Chaccohben ruins and Bacalar lagoon with informative narration and illustrations from Jhoana and the guide from the ruins. The sites were well worth the trip and the lagoon was spectacular. We were a group of 8 and were able to leave early and arrive at the ruins before the big crowds. Jhoana provided interesting information punctuated with illustrations from her own guidebook. Made the trip more special. She also took great pictures of our group at both locations. Taco lunch provided on the boat, along with snacks, drinks and delicious homemade guacamole topped off the excursion. The van driver, boat captain and Jhoana were all friendly, entertaining, responsive and helpful. They made sure we made it back to the boat in time. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Experience with a Wonderful Guide! - We just did this tour last week while on a cruise, and Jhoana was beyond amazing! She's so cheerful and informative and friendly. Our entire family thought she was great, and we would 100% book with her and Eco Experience again. The ruins were inspiring to walk around and learn about, and the Bacalar lagoon was beyond beautiful - both to look at in awe and to swim in. Adults and kids alike enjoyed the entire day. Just don't be idiots like us who forgot to bring enough cash to tip as much as we wanted to because they deserve it! (There is a driver who takes you everywhere, Jhoana is the main guide, there is a guide for your small group at the Chacchoben Ruins, and a boat driver on the pontoon). We really felt we maximized our time at port with this tour without feeling too rushed. 100% recommend.

We loved it - Our Guide was very kind and accommodating. It is a long ride but that is unavoidable and I would do it again! It was awesome to see archeologists actively digging at the ruins! The 7 color lagoon is beautiful and is nothing like we have seen before in looks and how the floor feels. No fish just soft floors and beautiful water. Lunch was good also. The tequila sunrises were yummy and kept the day going! I would recommend this tour! Our group of 6 (3 separate couples) saw so much more than the huge groups.

This was a nice... - This was a nice excursion. We were only in port for a short time but we were able to see a lot. I wish we had more time to spend but our guide Gabriela was very nice and helpful.

Beautiful but Far - This place is beautiful; however it takes approximately an hour and a half to get there from the cruise port. Keep that mind when planning this excursion.

Great tour guide but not enough time - Our tour guide was amazing. The only down side of the trip is that we didn’t realize we would be in a van for over 3 hours and be traveling an hour and a half away from the ship. The tour was rushed due to the time spent travelling.
