  • Al Masjid an Nabawi - Masjid-e-Nabwi is the masjid (mosque) established by the Prophet (ﺣ) upon his migration to Madinah. It is the second most revered masjid in Islam and the second largest in the world, after Masjid al-Haram in Makkah.

  • Masjid Al Qiblatayn - The Masjid al-Qiblatayn is a mosque in Medina that is historically important for Muslims as the place where, after the Islamic Nabi Muhammad received the command to change the Qiblah from Jerusalem to Mecca, the entire congregation led by a companion changed direction in prayer.

  • Masjid Quba - The Masjid Quba is the first mosque built by the Muslims. The mosque is a mosque in the outlying environs of Medina, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the mosque was built 6 kilometers off Medina in the village of Quba, before Medina got expanded to include this village.

  • Jannatul Baqi - Jannatul Baqi (Garden of Heaven) is the main cemetery of Madinah. Buried here are many members of the Prophet’s (ﺣ) close family, around ten thousand of his companions (Sahabah) and many prominent, pious personalities.

  • Grave Of Hamzah - Located in the Shuhada Martyrs District in front of the iconic Uhad Mt, lays the blessed grave of Hamzah the Uncle of the Prophet Muhammad, also known as the Masters of Martyrs and Lion of Islam. ‘The eye cries for Hamzah but the eyes of Hamzah don’t’.

  • Mount Uhud - This is a section of Mount Uhud, in front of which the second battle in Islam (the Battle of Uhud) took place in 3 AH. Of this mountain, the Prophet (ﺣ) declared, “This mountain loves us and we love it.” [Muslim]

  • Masjid Al Ghamamah - This masjid, located about 300m south-west of Masjid-e-Nabwi is known as Masjid Ghamama. It is built on the site where the Prophet (ﺣ) performed the Eid salah during the last years of his life.

  • Abu Bakar Masjed - Located very near to Gate 6 of Masjid e Nababi and Masjid Al Ghamamah. This is a single dome mosque and smaller one

  • Masjid Jummah - Masjid Jummah, on the boundary of Madinah, marks the site where the Prophet (ﺣ) led the first Jummah salah, shortly after his Hijrah (migration) from Makkah. It is about 2.5 km from Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Approximately one hundred Muslims participated in this first Jummah salah. Amongst them were the Prophet’s (ﺣ) relatives from Bani an-Najjar who had come to meet him and some from Bani Amr who had escorted him from Quba.
After performing the Friday prayer, the Prophet (ﺣ) mounted Qaswa (his camel) and set off for the city of Madinah.

  • The Seven Mosques - The Seven Mosques or Sab’u Masajid is a complex of six small historic and often visited mosques in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. The complex consists of six mosques in spite of the name “Sabah” means “seven”, because it included the Masjid al-Qiblatayn originally.

The Prophets Mosque is Incredible - We loved visiting Medinah. We went to all the cool places there, including, obviously, the prophets mosque. We were dressed as if we belonged, and we participated in prayer and everything else that happens there. The people are so nice and welcoming. We loved our visit.

Mouse in the house - The room, not too bad. It was the mouse in the bed to cause a lower score. The price seemed high for the value. No tidy up from first to second day. The bathroom was nice and fully fumctional. Wifi was fine.
