Fondly referred to as the Vale das Mimosas, it commands an awe-inspiring view of the Machico Valley (the initial landing place of Portuguese explorers) and the Desertas Islands. As you traverse this track, you’ll encounter agricultural plots cultivated by locals with a variety of fruits and vegetables and get to relish the sight of unique blooms along your journey.
