- Lake Lucerne - Why is it so important to be on time in Switzerland? How many languages do the Swiss speak? Are we all rich? On this cultural bike tour of Lucerne, you will discover how and why the Swiss people think and behave differently from the rest of the world. All the while, cruising in and around Lucerne on our specialized electric cargo bikes. The tour has five stops, each offering a different perspective on the fascinating traditions and stereotypes of the nation and its citizens.
The tour starts at the Caritas Velostation, next to Lucerne’s Central Train Station. From there, we will ride outside of the city towards Horw, passing stunning historical buildings and continuing to an old railway track near one of the wealthiest areas of Switzerland—the not-so-touristy side of the city. As we reach Lake Lucerne, we will take a break and grab a typical Swiss snack while enjoying a magnificent view of Mount Pilatus and the stunning Swiss Alps. After enjoying the vista and taking a couple of pictures, we’ll cruise around the Horwer Peninsula along a safe street with further spots to take more photos of the impressive landscape. We will end the tour back at the Caritas Velostation, with an official immigration test, where you’ll have the chance to secure your own Swiss passport. Feel free to ask your guide for any local tips before continuing to tour the city feeling more like a local than when you started the tour.

Enjoyable tour with beautiful sights and a great guide - We had a great time on our tour with Roberto. It was nice to get away from the town and see another side of Luzern. Roberto is as funny as he is knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable.

Do not miss this tour while in Luzern! - We've been on all kinds of tours all over Europe and Asia but the e cargo bike tour by Loop Tours Luzern stood out as the most memorable, fun and satisfying tour of them all. We were able to go to places that huge bus tours wouldn't be able to go to and we saw breathtakingly beautiful sceneries that were truly hidden gems of Luzern. Our guide Anthony was a lot of fun to be with and we really enjoyed having him as our guide. We've been raving about this tour to friends and family and everyone that we talked to in Luzern and urged them not to miss an opportunity to enjoy this wonderful experience.
In addition to this e cargo bike tour, we also went on a private tour of Mount Rigi with Roberto. We also enjoyed this tour a lot. Roberto was very professional, he always answered our calls and texts promptly prior to the tours. He took great care of us during the Mount Rigi tour and was a pleasure to be with.

Unforgettably unique day tour around Lucerne - I’m not normally one for guided tours especially when visiting a city I have been to a few times now but Roberto came highly recommended from a friend who had been on his tour the year before.
I can honestly say that this was one of the best and most memorable days me and my partner have had living in Switzerland.
The views and “secret” tour that Roberto takes you on is an experience that is so unique and special that is just not possible to recreate yourself.
Starting and ending at the beautiful waterfront of the beautiful Lake Lucerne the trip took us through the back of the city seeing a whole different perspective of the historical city.
The e-bikes used in the tour are easy and so much fun to use. Despite the fact that you are on a bike moving through the city there is no feeling of disconnect from the tour taking place with adequate rest stops and facts about the different locations you stop at.
Finally the true highlight of this tour is Roberto himself as every other review will also say. He is an absolute delight from the moment you meet him and by the time you reach the first rest stop you already feel like you are going for a day out with an old friend.
Thank you so much Roberto and Loop Tours, I look forward to coming on another tour soon!

Fun experience. Beautiful scenery! - Great experience, fun tour guide, beautiful scenery, out and away from the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist spots. Especially fun for us first-time electric bike riders. We're converted!

SPECTACULAR!!! - Everything spectacular! Super recommended! Roberto the guide (speaks Spanish, English, German, etc.) is a genius! You visit places in Lucerne that are otherwise impossible to visit, with super modern and fun bikes and, in addition, Roberto has great attention (cookies, games and even a gift passport). Super personalized experience!! You won't regret it!!

Great cargo bike tour to discover Lucerne - A really unique a fun way to discover Lucerne. Our guide Roberto was super friendly and had loads of fun facts about Switzerland.
The bikes are very cool - it was my first time with a cargo bike, but Roberto made sure I was comfortable before we set out.

Great tour! - We were greeted so warmly by Roberto and Antony at Lucerne train station. Then we set off...it was a fantastic tour with lots of surprises. The two tour guides took great care of our well-being. We had so much fun! An indescribable experience. Thank you very much!
