Your small-group, self-guided day pass to Mount Rigi affords you entry to one of the renowned peaks of Switzerland. Ideal for families, hikers or those seeking a quiet day amidst nature, the mountain presides over Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug, strategically nestled in the heart of Switzerland. Access to this picturesque location is easily available from Lucerne via boat, train or personal vehicle to Vitznau or Weggis, and from Zurich using the direct train service or via the A4 highway to Arth-Goldau. The panoramic views from the summit are breathtaking, and the multitude of optional recreational activities ensures a relaxing experience for all.

- Beaware of the closing times of the cable car by visiting rigi.ch prior to your travel. Use Vitznau train line instead (no refund due to this!)

one of the most beautiful lookouts in Europe - one of the most beautiful views in Europe. Very easy to access with the funicular. We rush there as if to go up to the Eiffel Tower. The only downside: the absence of an orientation table at the summit, which is a clear disadvantage, the summits of eastern Switzerland not being as well known as those in the west.

Easy to use and amazing views! - This pass was really easy to use, it gave us access to all of the transport options on Mt Rigi. Although it seems expensive at first, we found that arranging the transport separately was more expensive and the price is well worth it for the views you get at the top. Highly recommend!

Mount Rigi is worth the trip! - Mount Rigi was beautiful and the train ride up was spectacular! It was a little cloudy that day so our views were somewhat obstructed, but it was still stunning and a wonderful half day trip I would highly recommend.

Go above the clouds! - A magical day above the clouds.

Best unforgettable experience - Best experience ever. Unforgettable experience for my whole family. We never expected to see too much snow on top of Mt Rigi but we were very lucky to have seen it, felt it and enjoyed it.

Grand Experience for All Travelers, the Mt Rigi Cog Railway and Cruise, Lucerne - Follow in the steps of Queen Victoria (and thousands who followed) and experience the majesty of Mt. Rigi, Lucerne. Travel with ease via the lake cruise and then take the Rigi Klum Ccg Railway up the mountain and have amazing strudel at the hotel's restaurant. Then take the cable car down to Weggis and catch the boat back to Lucerne. Highly recommend going midday to avoid crowds and have the best light. Enjoy!

Awesome views of the Alps - must do from Lucern - Awesome views all around of the Alps. Great hiking options and decent food options. We took the boat from Lake Lucern to the stop for Mt. Rigi, then a short train ride to the summit with beautiful views on the way. Keep a light jacket as it is cool up there!
