Cliffs of Moher - I will pick you up at 10 am and we will drive through a romantic sea
port village named Kinvarra and head towards the famous Burren
a vast limestone plateau formed 320 million years ago. Here you
will find Alpine, Arctic and Mediterranean plants growing side-by-
side. Soon after we leave Kinvarra, you will see the hills of Burren be amazed by this very unique and unusual landscape.
Our first stop will be the Flaggy Shore, a beautiful road with
limestone pavements and sculptured rocks along the shores of
Galway Bay, with white Burren hills as a backdrop. On a fine day
you can even spot the Connemara mountain peaks across the bay.
Our journey continues through the harbour village of Ballyvaughan
and takes us to the megalithic Poulnabrone Dolmen, situated on
one of the highest points of the Burren. We will stop here and take a short walk to this world famous Dolmen.
Just a short drive from Poulnabrone is Caherconnell Fort, built in
the 10th Century. This is one of the best preserved stone forts in the Burren. After a short walk on the grounds we can enjoy some food and refreshments in the Mountain Haven Cafe.
Our next target is Corkscrew Hill, a steep and winding road with
spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. After a short stop at
the viewing point we head for a hill named Slieve Elva and drive
along the winding road almost to the summit. On a clear day,
driving from here down towards the ocean and the Wild Atlantic
Way near Fanore is very eye-pleasing for sure.
Back on the main coastal road, we continue our journey to the Cliffs of Moher. This natural wonder, towering 214 meters above the ocean and stretching eight kilometers along the coast, will take your breath away. Take your time to explore this unique area by walking on the winding trails and pathways along the towering cliffs. Afterwards, we will visit the award winning visitor center with its graphic displays, gift shops and restaurants. We could have a lunch here or on the way back in the rustic Monks Restaurant near
Ballyvaughan, in the heart of the Burren.

Ulla is a fabulous guide.... - Ulla is a fabulous guide. Her knowledge, her passion, and personality all came out during our day together. Wonderful day - We had a great tour with Ulla. She took us along the road less traveled to wonderful places, including a charming perfumery and chocolate shop. We enjoyed the history you would miss just driving out to scenic destinations. Highly recommend,

Phenomenal experience! Can’t recommend highly enough! - Ulla could not have been more wonderful as a knowledgeable tour guide, as a safe driver, and as a kind and caring person. We absolutely loved our experience with her! It was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. The sights she brought us to see were personalized for the needs/wants of our family, and she gave us many options re: what to see and do along the way. We wanted to avoid crowds and touristy spots, and she delivered in the most incredible way! Her passion and love for the country and people were evident throughout our journey, and they enhanced every aspect of the trip. We can’t wait to return and do Connemara and the Aran Islands with her. And we’ve offered to be HER tour guides if she comes to our area of the USA.

Don’t drive it alone, use Ulla for a great tour! - It was a wonderful tour! Ulla shared beautiful views we wouldn’t have found on our own and a lot of history. She was the best!

An amazing experience with a wonderful guide! - I will forever remember this experience! Ulla, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She balanced perfectly taking care of us and allowing us to explore independently and take in the views.
The Cliffs are truly majestic, and we were very grateful that we could explore them at our pace, away front the crowds and buses. Ulla handpicked a few very tasteful stops, so we were never away from a restroom or a warm drink for more than 20-30 minutes. This made the experience very relaxing.
As wonderful as the Cliffs were, exploring the Burren’s country roads (which buses simply can’t access) lined by beautiful stonewalls was equally enjoyable. I was very happy that we booked this excursion.

Full day at relaxed pace - Dolmen and Cliffs were magnificent. Oola our guide also chose small back roads, accessible only by car, not by tour bus, to see views and local sites such as Flaggy Shore.

Just a Perfect Day! - Amazing. Simply Amazing. Ulla’s love for Ireland is infectious. She guides you to the most beautiful areas off the beaten track. She takes into account what’s the guest would enjoy and alters the day based on that.

I never knew Ireland is so breathtaking! And our tour guide was nothing short of amazing! - If you love nature and would like to see the most scenic places in Ireland but don't fancy the crowded "off-the-shelf" tours, pick Ulla as your tour guide and let her drive you to Cliffs of Moher, The Connemara National Park and further. She is very knowledgeable about the surroundings of her hometown Galway and very flexible. If you wish to just sit on the cliffs of Moher and take in the beauty for a a while, you can do that or have a beer at a roadside pub, she'll give you time and space to do that also. She's also a very good driver and fun to be around. Definitely recommend exploring the magnificent west coast of Ireland with her!

You most certainly will see more than you expect. ​ - I have used Ulla’s help twice to discover Ireland. It has been a wonderful opportunity to drive through this beautiful and historical country in a comfortable car and with a great guide as I didn’t have to worry about left-hand traffic or that I could miss out some interesting places.
