Our surf lessons are not only safe but also enjoyable, inclusive of warm-ups, theory, and practical application. Depending on the sea conditions and your proficiency level, we’ll select the perfect beach to surf (either Guincho or Carcavelos) and structure a safe, fun surf lesson involving warm-ups, theoretical instruction, and practical training. We guide you to the ideal waves!
Our coaching sessions typically span about 2 hours, based on your preference. We allocate time for you to practice and improve wave after wave, offering assistance and feedback!

If you are coming from Lisbon, head to Cais do Sodré and take a beautiful train ride along the ocean.
we decide were the waves are better only one or two before(when we can see the forecast):
if Guincho beach,exit in Cascais, uber or bus to guincho
if Carcavelos beach,exit at carcavelos station.

LEARN, REPEAT, SURF & ENJOY - such an amazing experience. within two hours i‘ve learned some essential principles of surfing - thanks to Ricardo. he is definitely passionated about surfing and such a patient and humorous person.

Great first time surfing - Great first time surfing!! Great instructor who prepared us first with excercises imitating the motions on land and then guided us in the water. I was able to stand up and catch waves several times and was extremely happy with the results. Would highly recommend!!

What a fun lesson - Great experience! Very fluid and quick communication through whatsapp, we were given precise explanations about the options for dates and times and instructions on how to arrive. We took a private surfing lesson with great instructor, everybody loved it! The ones who were for the first time surfing are now hooked. Definitely will be back when in Portugal.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER - I was on a field trip with my class where surfing was an incorporated learning during the trip. Before I left, I had never surfed before and I also found it difficult at first, but I got a lot out of it. The instructors were super helpful and all in all it taught me a lot! 5 stars from me :)

Amazing first time surfing - This was a great introduction to surfing and the best way to start the day! Conditions were beautiful and the beach was lovely and quiet as it was early in the morning. Perfect for beginners who need the space. The instructor was very patient and helpful. We were afraid the surfing would not go ahead due to the storm over the weekend but Salty Souls were very communicative and accommodating. Thank you!

What a great ride - Perfect first Surf lesson for me and my daughter (8 y.). It was a great experience and our teacher Junior did a wonderful job and kept as safe and taught us everything important. Booking and contact in advance was super easy and fast replies always via Whatsapp.
I can recommend it a 💯% and we thank André and his Team with teacher Junior for this great wave experience. Whenever back in Lisabon we would book right away again with Salty Souls Surf School.

Stormy ocean - lots of fun - Loved it! Despite challenging wave conditions, the best day out in the water! Great coaches that give you thumbs up every time you look back at them in the water when you made it on your board to the beach, lots of fun, highly recommend.
