Miradouro das Portas do Sol - Whether on a climb from the Cathedral to the Castle of São Jorge or the other way around, the Portas do Sol viewpoint is a perfectly located spot in the middle of this route for an impromptu break.
Visiting the viewpoint is also an excuse to appreciate the genuine features of Lisbon in a fantastic view to the eastern front of the Alfama District and the Tagus River, which extends to the river’s edge in a unique maze of streets, staircases and lanes. From the top of the viewpoint it is also possible to admire the various domes and different architectures of the churches of Santo Estêvão, São Miguel and São Vicente de Fora.
Being at the Portas do Sol viewpoint is like being on a balcony at home, thanks to its cozy and busy atmosphere. In addition to the postcard-worthy view of Lisbon, at the Portas do Sol viewpoint you can have an authentic Portuguese coffee at the viewpoint kiosk, see the famous tram 28 that passes constantly in front of you and also visit the statue of São Vicente, patron saint of Lisbon, holding the ferry that is the symbol of the capital.

Awesome tour! - Anastasiya was our tour guide. She was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable! This was a great way to be introduced to the city. The guide has a car which allows you to drive from place to place which allows you to see so much of the city in just one day. You’re able to park, get out of the car, and explore the various places you visit on the tour. She also has great recommendations for things to do that are not in the tour so this is a good tour to do early on in your trip. I would highly recommend!

A most enjoyable tour - Great one day tour of Lisbon, our guide Anastasia was very knowlegeable of the city’s sights, history and she adapted the tour to our interests. Nothing was rushed, she has a lot of experience and a warm personality. She offered excellent post tour recommandations. We fully enjoyed our day, and heartily recommend the tour.

A greet guide makes all the difference! - What a fun and informative day we had exploring Lisbon with our guide Joao! He took us all over the city, to Alfama, to the seaside, Belem, a variety of monuments, and great view locations for lovely photos. To cap it all off we enjoyed some Ginginha and Pastais de Nata. What made it so special for our family is his deep knowledge of the city, its history and his insights on the Knights Templar. He has a separate tour all about that as well. We highly recommend booking him for any tour possible.

Anastasia is amazing! - Anastasia is a wonderful tour guide and she drove my family around Lisbon and checked out most of the important landmarks. She is highly educated and has a deep knowledge base which makes her different from other guides who merely went thought the trade school.

A perfect tour for your stay in Lisbon! - This tour was an excellent overview of Lisbon. I got to see all the main highlights. The guide was outstanding and I highly recommend Kitzel Tours. This tour is perfect for those who just have the day to see the main sights as well as those who want a good overview of the city to begin a multi day stay in the city.

Fun day in Lisbon - The day with João was excellent! He was so funny and knowledgeable- it was a very enjoyable way to get an overview of the city and a wonderful history lesson about Lisbon and Portugal! We highly recommend his Lisbon tour! When we return to Portugal-hopefully soon- we will definitely book our next adventure with him!
