This is an alternative exploration of Lisboa, mainly traversing its back-alleys, patios and hidden passages.
I launched this walking tour a year ago on a different platform where it quickly climbed to the top-ranked walk in the city. I’m thrilled to offer it on TripAdvisor as of July ‘19!
Expect an insightful journey through not only our country’s history, but also its culture, intriguing facts and local traditions of Lisboa.
This tour is completely family-friendly. If you have a desire to experience the beauty of this city on foot, this is the perfect choice for you!
It’s particularly beneficial for first-time visitors as I include helpful tips on local food offerings, Fado culture, literature, as well as practical advice on how to navigate public transit.

National patrimony plus childhood moments - Humberto ranged from historical insights to poignant stories of his childhood in this neighborhood. Great energy and intensity. Especially good at answering questions (or sending later follow-up when needed!). Great pre- and post-event communication. Best walking-tour guide evah! Leave time for Humberto-Tour when in Lisbon. (A fab tourism city.)

The best walking tour you will ever experience. - I have had the pleasure of joining Humberto on one of his tours twice so far. Once with a friend and again with my fiancé. Both times were exceptional! Humberto is so passionate about the history in lisbon and makes the experience very personal. A must see recommendation for anybody traveling to Lisbon. The best walking tour I have ever done!

Inspiring and informative walk with Humberto - What a wonderful walking tour! Informative, funny, personal and we got to see places outside the obvious tourist spots. I would highly recommend this tour with Humberto. Interesting and inspiring discussions on history, literature, economics and education. Humberto will make you fall in love with Lisbon!

Loved this tour ❤️ - Thank you so much humberto! You let usjoin last minute. You were funny, warm, charming, knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about your home town. Best walk-tour in town!!! - If you are thinking to book a walk-tour around the beautiful city of Lisbon, this is the ONE! Humberto is just amazing! Very friendly, funny, informative, took us to the best spots for the best photos and shared with us a lot of suggestions of places to visit for sunset and food! He even treated us with a famous Pastel de nata 😊 Highly recommend! Thank you again Humberto, it was a pleasure buddy!

No show guide - Guide was a no-show. My money was refunded and he apologized, but since we only had 1 day, we were unable to book something else. Total waste of my time. Viator customer service was useless.
