Amazing views at sunrise. - What an amazing hike!!! The guides (Kevin & Eric) were great, and had lots of experience dealing with a mixed crow of fitness levels. They were also a wealth of knowledge regarding the history, fauna and flora of the area. Would do this hike again in a hart beat for the spectacular views from the top as the sun rises.

An extraordinary experience! - Clear recommemdation! It is a very special experience to start climbing LeMorne Brabant in the dark and experience dawn and sunrise on the go. The trip consists of two „phases“: The first few kilometers are a hike on unpaved paths. The path offers great views again and again, so you can watch the dawn spread over the bay. The second phase includes very steep sections that require climbing. Kevin instructed us very well and made sure that everyone in the group got up safely and had a good time. We really felt his experience. On the more challenging sections he instructed us exactly which route to take and where to grip. Once we reached the top, we were treated to a breathtaking view. Kevin took lots of great photos of us, so we have wonderful memories of this great experience. Thanks for that! Timeline: we set off at around 5:00am and were back at the car at around 10:00am. If you are considering whether to do the tour with or without a guide: we definitely recommend taking a guide. We go hiking a lot, but have no experience with climbing. Without a guide, we would probably have turned back because we wouldn't have had the confidence to tackle the climbing sections. If you're undecided whether to do the tour at sunrise or later in the day: we definitely recommend the sunrise tour; we were the only group (4 people + guide) on the summit in the morning. When we descended, the path was quite crowded and it quickly became quite warm. In conclusion: Thank you, Kevin, for this wonderful, unique experience!

Sunrise hike Le Morne - We hiked Le Morne with Kevin for a sunrise hike. This was our first time doing any hiking involving climbing and rock scrambling. He was incredibly patient, taught us the safest way up and down the mountain and was great company on top of it all. He also takes some pretty amazing photos for you. Would HIGHLY recommend Kevin and Horazis for activities in Mauritius.

Best guide! - Best guide we ever had! Good job, Kevin! Trust me, the mauntain that day wasn't easy, rain day before make road wery slippery, but we did it, thanks to Kevin.

DO THIS!!! - This was an absolutely incredible experience!! The views were breathtaking, exotic birds serenaded us the whole hike, and the fragrances from the forest were 😍. Our guide, Kevin, shared tons of interesting commentary about the history, flora/fauna, and geography of the region. It was a challenging climb, but he guided us expertly through tricky spots and adjusted the pace as needed to make sure everyone was supported. I have hiked mountains across four continents now... and getting to the top of Le Morne is a totally unique, transcendant experience. 10/10 would recommend - if you do one excursion in Mauritius, this should be it!!!

Wonderful! - Our hike this morning with Kevin was absolutely awesome. The early start is completely worth it as we were alone on the mountain for the entire ascent. Kevin is a fabulous guide. I was really quite nervous about how I would manage on the more challenging parts of the hike but I was able to achieve more than I could have imagined today. The instructions were clear and calming, and the whole atmosphere was inspiring and encouraging. Thank you so so much Kevin! I stepped outside my comfort zone today and I couldn’t recommend you as a guide highly enough.

Special Mauritius memory - Such a special trip - would highly recommend. Kevin is a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable about the environment and Mauritius in general. He was also patient and helpful with all climbers and motivated us to the top. An experience I will never forget.

Le Morne at Sunrise 🌄 - That was an absolute fantastic morning hike - at Sunrise. I really recommend this hike with Kevin. He is one of the best guides I ever had. He also told us a lot of history and nature. It was big fun to do the hike with him and absolutely safe all the time.

Mixed experience: Hiking on Le Morne with a guide who needs improvement - Unfortunately, I cannot fully recommend this hike. The guide was not professional in his behavior and it detracted from the experience. Instead of caring about the needs of the group, he always put himself first and seemed complacent. Instead of engaging with the participants' experiences, he tried to belittle them by talking about his own adventures, which he thought were better. In addition, he made derogatory remarks about our country of origin, Germany, by pitying the people who would live there and criticizing life in the "hamster wheel" of the economy. Despite these shortcomings, however, I would like to acknowledge that the guide took authentic pictures of the tour group and provided them free of charge. This gesture was commendable and deserves recognition. Overall, however, the hike was disappointing due to the guide's unprofessional behavior. I can therefore only give two out of five stars.
